The West needs to step up and increase support. I kept telling people who swallowed up western propaganda about Russian incompetence to not underestimate their enemy, yet they still thought that the war was certainly won without much support from the West. Now its clear that Ukraine is losing badly, and if we don't do a lot more to support them, it may be that Russia will breakthrough the lines and take a lot more territory.
That option is long overdue. More Western support won’t help Ukraine. We need a strategic diplomatic solution. How about this, let Russia siege the land they already occupied, and then, when the war end, place NATO troops, weapons and admit it as a NATO member. That would keep the Russians happy with their gains, while the war will be stopped as a second invasion is impossible with Ukraine in NATO. Also, Trump is a guy who talks with actual threats behind his words, so I’m confident his negotiation with Russia after this would prevent war.

There's no justification to continue this conflict other than selfishness, ambition, and lack of human empathy. The fact that I'm not getting invaded doesn't mean i can't say this. The funniest thing about these videos which are some comments about how Ukraine can win, while most other comments are going "Russia was always going to win, the people who thought they wouldn't are stupid" while looking at trench warfare where the only changes over the entire map has been a collective almost 2 square miles, and the only changes in the front lines since the stalemate began have been almost 1 - 2 square miles every couple of days. Seriously, this is a stalemate right now, Neither Russia nor Ukraine are winning. We are likely going to be stuck in this stalemate until one of the countries economies or spirit gives out. On that front, Ukraine is being supported heavily the western nations which is keeping their economy up, and their spirit is probably not going to go down unless this war goes on for another 2 years. As for Russia, it's economy is doing somewhat fine, They don't have much international support, the sanctions are definitely starting to hurt now, but time will only tell if their economy is going to see damage from all this, there spirit on the other hand has been quite mixed, but mostly high. Again though, Russia is much bigger, so lower numbers on both eco and spirit are more tolerable to them than Ukraine. Seriously though, the fact that this has been dragged into trench warfare, and that Ukraine not only won the first 2 phases of the war, but still has more territory liberated than lost shows both their good fighting spirit of Ukraine, and the pathetic state the Russian military was and still is in. Seeing how this trench war goes from here though will be interesting because it is now campaign season. Thus we are now in the propaganda phase where victories and defeats may only be a few square miles or even yards, but what's important is how each side is able to project these tiny victories into major ones on the global stage.
2024 has seen only Russian advances, they have captured about 10 settlements, one of which is avdiivka. The war is slowly but surely going in Russian favor. It would take massive investments from the west to turn it around now. As for Ukrainian spirit, the number one concern of male population is how to leave the country as to not get drafted by force and sent to frontlines. I don't see Ukraine winning this unless they recieve massive and I mean massive ammounts of money at once.
Out of all videos about war in Ukraine. I must admit you have most rational opinion in these braindead comment sections. Congratulations !
