I don’t mean to sound unhappy with Rome because I’m not - thrilled really - but I was hoping alt would somehow fall to 9 for the bears. Probably the safest pick in the entire draft. I can’t imagine this kid not being in the pro bowl at least a few times, and wouldn’t be surprised to see him have a HoF career. Just completely rock solid everywhere in his game.

Went to ND with him. He’s also a fantastic engineer. I have no clue how he managed to do it all given how taxing football is on him. Truly impressive and I hope to see him continue to succeed.
And if anyone is asking I only talked to him twice hahaha. Obviously hard to miss him in the classroom though given that he is fucking giant.

This is the kind of athlete that even if he’s not a star straight out in his first 2 seasons, you resign him, because he has that personality and calmness that franchises could really benefit from. You hope by year 4-5, he picks up on his mistakes from the previous years. I’m sure he won’t have these issues, with his size and talent.
