This is a series in which we convert our yellow Volkswagen T3 Sunny to our dream camper van. Follow us as we work on the engine, the interior and as we even swap our tin top to a pop top!
In this video of the conversion, we'll get to the visual part of adding our Westfalia Mosaik pop top roof. We drill holes for the hinges, and make sure everything fits the way it is supposed to.

Just a heads up, there are Metric tools and hardware in the US. Necessary for modifying inported products from Japan, Asia and Europe. However I'm still looking for Metric hammers and crescent wrench.

Hi, your videos are great! I am just about to do the same. I have a Westy pop top roof to fit to my T3. So it’s great watching what you guys are doing 👍🏼 Can I ask where you got the black brackets that support the roof hinges? Did the roof come with the roof cut out bracket? Thanks Neil

- Hi Neil! We got the brackets from a German webshop called Westagon. We were indeed lucky enough to get our cut out frame with our roof, so unfortunately we wouldn’t know where to get one. Great to hear that our videos are helpful. Good luck with your conversion! 🚀
