World appears to downplay Israeli strike on Iran as world leaders call for calm
The U.S., Israel and Iran all appear to be downplaying the Israeli attack on Iran overnight Thursday. CBS News has learned that Israeli aircraft operating outside Iran fired a small number of missiles on a city after suppressing air defenses, but officials have refused to say more about the matter as world leaders call for calm in the region.

Except for the fact that Israel really had little right to retaliate against Iran's strike since the latter was retaliation for Israel's attack on one of their embassies, the overall situation should be downplayed (for now anyway.) Both Iran and Israel were obligated by their people to retaliate and both chose to make token attacks not meant to cause any significant damage. In other words, they were both just going through the motions to appease their people.

The story is rather simple: 1) Israel needs Iran to justify getting more aids from the U.S. 2) Iran needs Israel to justify its domestic and international policy. 3) The Arms Merchants in the U.S. need both Iran and Israel to sell arms to the Persian Gulf states. 4) The members of congress need the Arms Merchants who share the loot by giving them Campaign Contributions to promote more wars.

Word on the street in China and Russia and Iran and possibly India is that a Russian plane shot down an Israeli F- 35 that carried an EMP device that was supposed to shut down the Iranian grid. And then all the drones were shot down except for one that did do some minor damage. In contrast, Iran’s ballistic missiles hit 2 Israeli air fields and an intelligence center.

It was reported the day before that Russia had sent planes to Iran. So when an Israeli F 35 took off for Iran, which would need US assistance in some way, the Russians took it out. In case you haven’t been paying attention, the Russians have hypersonic missiles and even the Iranians do now. If a F 35 is not stealthy enough, it’s toast. Iran didn’t even need its hypersonic missiles to successfully hit the two runways and the Israeli intelligence facility that were involved in the attack on the consulate. Proving that they can hit anything in Israel they want.

So it has been Palestinian land for nearly 2 millennia. Israelis have been trying to adversely possess the Palestinian land since 1948. Palestinians have the right to prevent adverse possession.
