Professional pride is a significant factor in most sports. Fans' perspectives are often influenced by biases that obscure rational or logical thought. Unless we're in the locker room or on the practice field, we can only speculate about what's happening. We might occasionally guess correctly, but often we do not. I completely concur with you, Ben, that it doesn't matter who starts the game, but rather how they perform during it. I don't compare statistics from 20 years ago to today's games because it's not logical. Current form is the most dependable standard to use. As a fan, I must trust that our manager knows how to lead the team effectively, which is why he holds the position. He interacts with the players daily and has access to far more data than we do. Whether a player or the team wins or loses, a discussion can ensue based on the facts presented by each game. In my view, context is crucial in most scenarios. Statistics and observations help shape the opinions we form. Personal bias, however, hinders the ability to see the full picture. I'm eagerly anticipating the last two games and am thrilled that we've performed well enough to be contending for direct promotion back to the Premier League. I enjoy learning about this game, and I thank you, Ben, for your videos, which have enhanced my understanding of this fascinating sport we adore.

I think people would be happier if Farke changed things up a bit to suit Piroes game, but he doesn't do this and that is why people want Joseph as he is the nearest we have to Bamford.

Joseph is more of a like for like change with bamford if bamford is out. That’s why I’d go for Joseph if bamford isn’t starting or available.

Piroe hasn’t been as I expected - as I expected him to play. Don’t know what he needs to flourish but it’s not a physical battle with overloaded defences. I think he needs a football match. We don’t get that many of those. I love Joseph’s edginess but he looks like he has a red card in him, we don’t want that! Bamford has way more guile for the unarmed combat. But I do think Joseph can offer something closer to what Bamford does. We seem to need to change the way we, and the opposition plays to suit Piroe.

Joseph has a red card in him why because he’s physical? Not sure how you come to that conclusion when Joseph has never once lost his head aggressively or flew into a tackle recklessly.

It's crazy how are best finisher has hardly had a run of games as a striker in piroe surely a massive mistake not giving him a go over the last few months when we haven't had goals in us
