In 2018 we traveled to hunt stags for our first time in the Gredos mountains. I fell in love with the place, way of hunting and the stags that call those mountains their home.
An awesome trip with friends and a dream hunt for a stag in the rut.

Assuming an angle of 25° the cosine is 90 making the adjustment from 315m to 285m... so like 2/10 of a mil... the difference at 300m would not be noticeable. At least not enough to have made a difference. That shot wouldn't have been any better. It could have been cleaner, absolutely. But I personally think shooter fundamentals play a way larger role in this instance.
