Saying it's a trade glitch isn't correct. Its straight from Niantic! Any pokemon from 2018, 2017, 2016 will guarantee you a lucky as long as one person in the trade is trading one and hasn't hit the 25 limit.

Shundo's aren't even the rarest thing considering you can manipulate the odds and play during certain events/weather conditions for higher odds of them. A lot harder to find something like a level 1 shiny with 0 ivs. As those are impossible to get when weather boosted.

I started right before 2023 in December, its barely been my first year playing, and my first shundo ended up being my 12th shlucky, which i got off a random 2022 dratini com day shiny from my friend, and i gave him a 2023 mon, felt blessed for that shundo
The reaction is priceless. I got into POGO back in Novemeber 2023 because I was in Japan for 2 weeks and it was everywhere. Finding this channel solidified me continuing to play. That, and my GF plays on and off for years before we met so now we play together haha.

FYI, second hand info from Reddit. To guarantee the lucky trade, the person initiating the trade (i.e. the one who has the 2018 or older mon) must have a count of 25 or less. this is why when Mystic initiates trades with (the older 2018) his brother and girlfriend, the trades do not turn lucky, but when his brother initiates the trades (with the older pokemon), they turn lucky

@@carlossouza6256 the guaranteed lucky trades from trading Pokémon with certain catch dates. It was previously 15 but increased by ten recently. Once a trainer has hit the 25 trade cap, they will no longer be guaranteed luckies via the date. If both trainers have received their 25 guaranteed trades, they can no longer get lucky trades from Pokémon caught between 2016 and 2018. If one trainer has hit the cap, and is the only side with the required date, the trade will not be lucky. But if a trainer has hit the cap, but the other side sends a 2016-2018 and has NOT hit the cap, the trade will be lucky for both. I recently hit my cap, and after, traded with a friend who has NEVER gotten guaranteed luckies. He traded me relatively crappy Pokémon from 2017, and I traded him all meta relevant Pokémon from my end. He ended with a 100% garchomp and machamp. While I had previously hit my limit, but he had not, we got roughly 20 or so lucky Pokémon in a row from this mechanic.

The lucky trade trick only works if the person has less than 10 luckies from that year. Most of the time it only works if they have less than 10 luckiest in account but it’s iffy a lot of the time. Love the videos!

Have to ask, have Niantic absolutely nerfed shiny rates from remote passes? Think I’ve done over 50 raids (seriously I’ve lost count) and not a single shiny. I remember I’d get at least one every 10-20 raids.
When Jake Traded you the Ivsar and it was Lucky that was the best trade ever🎉 (Ivsar is my favorite pokemon)

I hit 25 before this last community day and still went over to about 33. Every 2018 was turning lucky but now that that community day is over its not working. But I went over 25.. 😂
It isn't an exploit. It is a feature pogo revealed. It isn't 25, it is up to 25, but counting the former 15 available for 2016-17 mons pre update. Since I already had done those 15, I got +10. I used them during the event recently with 5 trades so got my +10.

Helpful hint: You can immediately see if it’s a shundo or hundo just by looking at the highest CP in the CP range prior to confirming the trade and then looking at the CP once you get it. No need to appraise it!

Shiny Nundos are rarer than shiny hundos and Mystic7 knows this so I’m not quite sure why he said that shiny hundos are the rarest thing in the game at the beginning

Nundos are considerably more rare given you can’t hatch them, trade for them, lucky trade for them, catch in weather boosted weather, or get them as research rewards. Shiny shadow Hundos might be justified in saying they are the rarest but a regular ShLundo legendary, though insanely awesome and indeed rare, is far far from being the rarest.
