  • lol one thing i noticed about this gun is that when you put a fore grip on it, it doesn't actually put a fore grip on the gun. it just keeps its default grip and lowers the recoil. i prefer the muzzle break and the bullet penetration since the recoil is low enough without a fore grip.

  • I just got the Ripper and it is the BESTrifle I've ever used by far! My attachments are the fore grip and muzzle break as well but now with the addition of the rapid fire! Rapid fire you say? Yes. With Rapid Fire, no one can get away in both regular and hard core. I don't use secondary weapons either just to free up my perks in which are exactly the same as Ali-A's. That's all you need!

  • This setup has actually served me well. For whatever reason, I just couldn't get a grip on playing Ghosts, but I'm good at Black Ops 1 & 2.

    • When I use dead silence, I use it so I can hear other people's footsteps. It cancels out my footsteps so if I hear other footsteps I know it's someone other than me. It's really only useful if you have a good headset like Ali-a does, but I like the perk. Btw, for those who don't know, Ali-a uses Tritton Warheads, they are AMAZING headsets, I use them and they work wonders!

  • My favorite class setup with the Ripper is silencer and fore-grip. The perks: Dead-Eye, Fully-Loaded/Scavenger, Ready-Up, Take-Down, and Sleight of Hand. The killstreaks: Guard Dog, Battle Hind, and Maniac or Helo Pilot.

    • i don't think rapid fire was necessary at all the gun has good fire rate already. i run silencer and foregrip and it goes ham

  • I really enjoy the ripper and I didn't realize that you can change between smg and ar I just thought it was a combination of the two ... After seeing this video I will have to try going back and forth but I tend to leave it in at mode and have had a lot if success

  • I have both map packs so I am sporting the Maverick and the Ripper on my loadouts. I have five loadouts and the guns I use with them are the Maverick, the Ripper, the Honey Badger, the Vector and the Remington. My only beef with the Ripper is under powered at range.
