Frosty the scum frog, was a jolly, slimy bait, With his Walmart lure and his big bass dreams, he just couldn't wait. He hopped into the water, with a splash and a swish, And the bass all gathered 'round him, to fulfill their fishing wish. Kayak fishing with him, was always such a blast, Oh, Frosty the scum frog, he sure could fish at last! In the early morning hours, out on the calm lake, Frosty the scum frog leaped and dived, for big bass' sake. With his hooks all ready, and his colors bright and bold, He lured those hungry bass in, from the depths so cold. Frosty the scum frog, was a lure for me and you, He'd catch those big ol' bass, in the waters clear and blue. Kayak fishing with him, was always such a blast, Oh, Frosty the scum frog, he sure could fish at last! Now the other anglers marveled, at the bass he'd bring ashore, They'd ask where he got Frosty, and they'd rush to get some more. For the scum frog was a legend, in the fishing world so fine, And he'll keep on catching bass, time after time. Frosty the scum frog, was a lure for me and you, He'd catch those big ol' bass, in the waters clear and blue. Kayak fishing with him, was always such a blast, Oh, Frosty the scum frog, he sure could fish at last! So if you're out there fishing, and you're looking for a sign, Just remember Frosty the scum frog, and you'll do just fine! yeah with a bait caster...that's a dedicated fisherman with many hours of casting practice. my favorite cast was the last fish.... barely hits the water and fish on!
While I do enjoy watching the elite pros and big tournaments, I’ve come to really appreciate the content that you make. Fishing, at its core for me, is therapeutic. You go out, talk quietly, and catch some awesome fish. Keep up the great work

This way of fishing is cooler than what im used to, but its like a thrill when u have a fish that close to your boat, exiting! i like it.

The best frog out there. Yes it gets water logged a bit but a cast past a weed bed, then retrieving to the pad, quickly over to rest on the near side, is deadly.
My only gripe is the legs get pulled off. The action was great though!
I used a one legged scum frog for a month. Tacklewarehouse has them

I caught my PB in the yak yesterday! Definitely a huge inspiration for kayak bass fishing! Btw do you have trout streams in the midwest? It would be really cool to see a fly fishing video or a float trip down a river for trout in the yak.
Not many unless theyre stocked or runoff into the great lakes.
There are a lot of trout streams in SE Minnesota but most of them aren’t really big enough for kayak fishing.
I agree any open water action is better than ice fishing.

Hahahahaha, Santa got beat up , a pike would have ripped him clean in half. So good. Having a blast right now in the parking lot at work at Amazon getting ready to get those last minute gifts to all those kids for Christmas . I’m a real life elf . These Scummies ROCK! I love these crazy lures, I remember the "Chewbacca" lure,,,,Lol! I bought one of those open loop scissor clamps for fly fishing, Umpqua I believe, very versatile.
The scum frogs always gave me some of the best hookups when I fished bass. They’re body is softer than most but they get tore up easy. The scum dog walker fishes extremely easy for beginners.
Youre videos are like ASMRs. The catch following the sounds of the water splashing because of the fish is so satisfying 🔥🔥😮💨

I highly recommend the ribbit "top toad" for anyone who likes fishing these buzz style frogs. They are absolute fish catching machines and are pretty light on the wallet

Those Stanley Ribbit top toads are definitely fish catchers. Savage Gear makes one called the Duratech toad that is awesome too. It’s made out of an elaztech type material so it’s super durable. They also float so you can pause it when you get to a spot where you know a bass should be. I’ve caught more 5 and 6 pound largemouth on that Savage Gear toad than I have on any other lure!

I didn’t expect this video on a Thursday and it’s made me quite happy to enjoy this topwater action when the weather is cold in my town. I caught my last largemouth in October on a rat lure and this video takes me back to the warmer days of early fall that I miss so much.

Blitz frigs sell replacement legs that fit the scum frogs great. A bit if glue to handle a giod tug and not come out easily

Man i love watching your top water vids, I'm only 10 min in to the video but have to say it's nice seeing the largies going after the frog! Even though they've been on the smaller side, still nice to see those pretty green largies! I live in the desert, Las Vegas and the only place to fish is lake mead, so i live vicariously through you.
