Great video!! What would be your thoughts/opinions if Liko and Roy is in AU Ash universe. As a while to highlight Liko and Roy as the MAIN protagonist, to get to see Ash again. While not overshadowing Liko and Roy with World Monarch title.

i always like to think that Ash is out there in Pokemon Horizons - hes still World Champion - Defending his Title but hes still traveling on the side exploring new regions and catching and making new friends. i see it alot like the Yugioh sequel/Spin off Series. Yugi is still out there as the greatest duelist of all time - he even pops up now and then in either a cameo or a full on appearance like the Bonds Beyond time move. so yeah Our Boy Ketchum is out there somewhere.... traveling with Pikachu

One theory suggest that, Ash went on to become the "Battelle Frontier". Remember he was offered that role back in the series but he rejected it ! He might reconsider it, and as the battle tower can literally fly to any place in the Pokemon wolrd. He can arrive at any destination at any given point of time... 😅🤔

We may not see Ash anymore, nor do we know for sure where he is, but we do know that he's out there with Pikachu. Meeting and befriending People and Pokemon alike! I like to think Ash went to Paldea, meeting Nemona and taking on the 3 storylines or even a completely different one

Ash became a Pokemon master when he beat Leon to become world champion. There’s nothing left for him.
For Ash he just became a mere poke champion not a master
I have a couple of ideas of how ash could return that i think are interesting. 1. He relocates his mum and all his pokemon to alola and does his job as champion. 2. He contacts Scott and sets up his own battle frontier facility(again in alola) in a way similar to how @Pickled_Dill did in his series. 3. All future pokemon movies will continue to have ash as the main character. 4. When a new region is announced for the games they could have ash appear in a short video giving his highlights of our next adventure to hype us up(this being the most unlikely but most enjoyable idea)
Nice ideas
With Ash's story essentially being ended and not followed anymore, he's no longer restricted character-wise on what the writers can do with him. Kinda like the AU movies. (Would be ironic for the former main character to be the "returning companion", should he appear in Horizons. Though I do wonder if they'll have someone with him this time as a duo parallel to Liko and Roy.)

1. Interesting they gave Ash basically an open ending so that he can return where he left off & we can catch up to him learning about what he's been up to 🤔 I look forward to see that then. 2. I think now that Ash's world champion it feels right to close his story...for now & let us see the pokemon world from others which is something I think many wanted but hey now it's a good time more than ever huh 😂🤔? so yeah horizons is a breath of fresh air as if it's a brand new show you get me? They should have put Ho-Oh in the last episode of Ash and Pikachu I mean it’s literally the first legendary Pokémon they saw on Ash’s first day as a trainer and the Pokémon that motivated him to go on this journey.

It's 4:40 AM and i'm all of a sudden in shock, realizing how times has changed. Through this video, which i got to from a random thought of wondering about the current state of "Ash's journey", always knowing him as a choker and permanent "underdog" to literally a champion, done with his arc and on retirement duty it's unreal, truly a realization of how time flies 😹

I have my own head canon that Horizons isn’t real (and is a nightmare) and that Ash is travelling still around Paldea or somewhere else in the Pokémon world.
I miss when the anime would follow the storyline of the games and expand on them. There was also so many different storyline’s that they could have done with Ash that would have felt fresh and original.
I also want to point out that I think Liko is a bland character, who I really hope gets replaced in the next series. Her personality upsets me, I don’t want to watch a series where the main character is awkward around people, Ash would give me confidence to talk to other people cause I wanted to be like him. He was a role model, Liko though is the opposite and she just makes it hard to watch the show.

I do like Horizons, but I do want Ash to return. As mentioned, being a champion/strongest trainer doesn’t make one a Pokemon Master, then again the writers said being a Pokemon Master is a dream Ash put on for himself, meaning it isn’t an actual title/thing. I wonder what Gen 10 anime would be, cause Terapagos will probably become irrelevant
Time will tell
There is a lot to work out bringing Ash into Horizons. Very likely there would have to be a Pikachu battle, and there are things the two Pikachu could learn from each other. I think we tend to forget that Friede would be a major interaction for Ash. Murdock would remind Ash of Brock and Cilan and I think Ash would be quicker than some to recognize Mollie as a "Nurse Joy", especially with memories of Brock. The interaction with Liko and Roy might include some special training. And I have not covered everyone. Seems like it would take a movie to do it right.

I once had a dream about ash ketchum as a kid back in 6th elementary school before he left show
I know this is a little bit off-topic, but it’s still so sad we lost Dragon Ball Z creator Akira Toriyama. My second favourite anime after Pokémon. He truly was a legend in my book and I recently started watching sand land on Disney+ too. Truly a lot of fun!

The thing is, without Rica Matsumoto as his voice actress, the only appaerances Ash could possibly make, are non-speaking cameos, like the ones May made in Journeys, or on live broadcasts of Pokemon battles.
For the 1-yar anniversary of Ash's departure, not only did I watch the first two episodes of the Eng dub of the Pokemon Horizons anime, but I also got the Rainbow badge in Pokemon Soulsilver and I finally beat the final boss in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team after around 15 years. I remember back when Ash first left, I made a couple of comments on a few videos of the topic referencing the speech the narrator gave at the end of the first Pokemon episode. I was expecting those comments to get a lot of likes, but last I checked, they got very few. I guess a lot of people didn't get the reference. I do hope Ash returns one day, but not anytime soon, because then his return won't feel as special and meaningful.
I can imagine Ash making a guest appearance with Latias, Ho-Oh, or Solgaleo. :3
Rumors on 4chan stated that Horizons was set in the movie universe and that the company didn't use and Ash and Pikachu for Paldea because they've already done a school arc and his character wouldn't fit with the characters from the SV games. Characters that Ash has already met and places that he's already been to wouldn't be revisited, and Horizons is a temporary spin off series and a break for Ash and Pikachu until the next region. Looks to be true since Horizons has gone out of it's way to not show any reference or mention of Ash or his series except Nurse Joy(But she looked like the movie universe version.) They also said the japanese fandom dislike Scarlet and Violet, so Ash ultimately being in Paldea would upset them.
me I would definitely love to see a grown up ash being a mental figure towards the new characters they can do a entire episode arc where ash is training with liok and Roy... I would definitely love the ash to take on the explorers..

If Ash does return, we need to reach out to the writers of the anime to let them know we have ideas, and that they can be used! Possibilities are limited only if you make them that way!

Well i knew the meaning of what a Pokemon master is. And the ending showed me i was actually right. Anyhow. Ash is going on a adventure like no other! And i think after liko and roy series we will get back to ash. Probably him going trough paldea. There are manny champs there as we know and would be a great place for ash his journey! He’s probably there already. Anyways. I think they are just taking a break from ash. Giving liko and roy screen time. And i think they made legends ZA to be released in 2025 for a reason. So that when horizons finish. They can release ash his paldea journey and later have gen 10 be released end of 2025 or something so that it will be at one line again!

I really don't want Ash to return. While I do miss him and I felt like Journeys didn't do a good job ending his saga, I feel like if Ash were to come back it would just cause more harm than good.

If they said that Ash would become a Pokémon Master when it ended. One possible interpretation, when the franchise ends- (No more Pokémon) Ash becomes a Master. In other words, As long as Pokémon is being made in some way shape or form- Ash will exist.

I will be honest.. But I don't really miss Ash that much.. I think his character was not that interesting for a long time now. I was more invested in the developpement of his Pokemon than him and... Liko and Roy are a breath of fresh air and I'm really invested into them as characters than Ash.
