Jeff, the fact that you haven't changed the way you do KZhead since you started your channel is one of the reasons why I have always been a fan of yours👍 There are a bunch of knife/edc gear related KZheadrs that grew their channels rapidly, because they're flashy. But these knife KZheadrs are not honest, they give positive/great reviews of knives/gear because they get those knives and gear free from the manufacturer😬 Jeff, you have always been honest and kept it real, that's what I really appreciate about you👍

I remember watching your videos back when you were in your room at your parents house. I never commented because I didn’t have a channel or account back then. I now make content everyday and it is difficult to always do it. Don’t worry what people say or comment on here, some just want to feel better about themselves and others just want to be mean. Definitely feel for you. I think we all can relate. All of our paychecks are getting smaller and smaller over the past couple years due to our pay rates staying the same and the cost of everything exploding.

My heart broke when he lost Gus. I was so glad he had already met Christina so he wasn’t alone. I’m 70 and have 10 dogs. They are the only reason I get up in the morning. And, no, I am not a breeder.
@@dianesozio7035 I know right? Gus was a cool dog. I just recently lost 2 of my dogs that I've had for a long long time. They both were my best buds. My one was a girl, her name was Rogue. And the other he was a boy and his name was Pup. All my animals are like my kids.
@@garyalensr I just about a month ago lost my Max. Mini Schnauzer. He would have been 9 in May. I also have his sister Minnie who is still searching for him. Maximum and Minimum were brought home as 8 week old puppies.

I've been watching you for about 12 of those years. Your content has a good variety and even though I'm not a knife collector I still like the reviews and knowing what's out there or new. Same reason I watch hicock, I'll never be able to own 99% but it's still cool. One of the best things is you have stayed the same and are a solid dude. With spring and summer coming up would you consider doing a overnight camping video? I know things are busy but if you have time it would be cool if you could just grab a bunch of gear and nothing crazy. I always enjoy seeing the prep and set up. Even tylertube finally did a one nighter and bless his heart lol atleast he got out there though

I remember watching you since I was in highschool, Ive made some really dumb comments myself here but not really at you. I still remember when you had problems with the Chrysler and posting videos wondering what they could be. (A lot of them said "it's a Chrysler lmao") That made me wonder why so I looked up repair videos/car videos. Lots of things happened to my life and I was able to keep a crappy car longer because I was exposed to those kinds of videos. I have a job now because of it. Finding your channel I think really changed my life, because I don't think I would be here today without thinking "The knife guy I like watching is having car problems, how? And can I find out if I can help?" I never found out a way since I didn't wanna say anything since I wasn't sure if my advice would work. Plus you got rid of it by the time I learned a small bit lol Thank you always for sharing, my life would probably be different if you weren't here.

The zippo tricks were cool too and, of course Gus we miss that bulldog. Then there were the hot sauce reviews as well. Just so much good content.
Everyone has haters and they are everywhere. Just keep pushing past them and being the best you can be. I have watched your videos for some time, and they have helped me through the years not to mention the kind words you gave us when you looked at our gear. Stay strong brother.
The one thing you got to remember is it's not their choice at the end of the day it's not their decision no matter what you do I'm a butcher by trade so I deal with the public on a regular basis and the one thing I got to tell myself is don't let one bad comment or interaction ruin the whole rest of your day because it's not worth it I have watched your videos since probably 2010 when I was a freshman in high school and now I'm 28 with two kids and married so I pretty much grew up watching you and I think one of the reasons I've watched so long is because you don't change you do stay so consistent I also read some of those comments on that other video and I kind of ticked me off so I can only imagine what it is for you I do wish you and yours the best no matter what it is you do I know how it can be when your place gets sold out from under you the place I'll be back right now for example has sold 3 times since we lived here

Your a true OG on KZhead. And you're not alone on the struggle right now so don't be embarrassed about it. Everything went up 3X or more just in the past few years.... I have never been wealthy but never had to worry about necessities until like 4 years ago. Now I have to watch/worrie about food.
I make content when I feel up to it. Mostly when I get new knives or new camping gear. Sometimes, I do 3 or 4 videos at the same time. Sometimes I go a week or two and film nothing. I don't stress about it.

Time are tough financially for everyone right now. Like you, I’ve been on a progression of upgrading my vehicle every 5ish years and just recently i had to make a slight downgrade when getting a new used truck. I’ve been kind of hard on myself about it but I don’t want to stress over a big car payment right now

Jeff, I always enjoyed watching your videos. I truly think that your videos are great the way they are... simple talk... no need for flash, smoke, and mirrors. Before TSE, I was in business for 25 years; I had a great YT channel and was doing very well with it... until YT removed a majority of my gun vids, then decided to remove my channel altogether. I can definitely relate to that portion... but I had a FT job, which was my business, until 2017... when a natural disaster took it. Whatever happens, I hope you make it through. I know tough times, and experienced ups and downs as well. I am virtually starting all over again in an even more knife/gun unfriendly environment, but this time, I am in it just for enjoyment and love of my hobby. Best of luck to you in your future... Sell all the "fun" stuff and start investing as soon as possible. Otherwise the constant monetary debasement is going to slowly fuck you over. Selling gold before your knives or the car probably wasn't the best idea. I understand that it was the easier thing to do though.
