I know one woman who did it to herself in lockdown in the spring 2020. A while after she hinted at regrets and said she couldn't wait for it to grow. At the same time she was bussy telling other women on FB and IRL to do it. That was strange.
I had a buzz cut due to an operation and everyone commented how good I looked I kept it like it its a very liberating feeling.

All the years I had waist length hair (for historical reenactment) when it was up in a bun or pulled back and braided I would think ' this basically looks like not having hair...' Love my buzz cut. Love the freedom from shampoo, conditioner, styling products, elastic bands, scrunchies, bobbypins, hair pins, barrettes, curlers, brushes, combs, etc etc. I used to have a drawer designated for hair things, and a shelf in the shower for bottles of hair goo.Now I have a hair trimmer on the utility shelf shampoo bar in the shower, and thats all. ❤ don't even need a towel to dry it.

That buzz cut really suites her and definitely makes her eyes the first thing you notice!! If we can start to travel more next year, my first stop in Europe with be with you because I need a different look. 😊 Then I can go see my family in Germany and complete a couple of bucket list items.

Er zit ook n heel filosofische kant aan. Je kunt je achter n dikke bos haar verstoppen, als je je kwetsbaar voelt. Zodra je dat haar weghaalt krijgt je gezicht alle aandacht en ben je sterk en kwetsbaar tegelijk. Echter t sterke overheerst omdat je je heel zelfbewust voelt. Wat n mooi vak heb je toch.

That huge pile of hair on the floor will make a great wig for someone! She looked pretty with the long hair, but now she looks beautiful 😍 she has the perfect head and face shape and size for this hairstyle.
Hair can not be swept off the floor and donated.
Hair that has had any process like color or perm can't be donated either. I vaguely remember that hair donation isn't legal in the Netherlands.

I really love this haircut! I've been doing it myself since Covid started, and I don't think I am letting my hair grow anytime soon. I only wonder what to do when hair gets too spiky at the top.
Make it shorter or use a little bit of pomade / wet wax
