The lyrics of the song are so touching and so pretty. The Sun proposing to the Moon, but the Moon is undecided and asks for more time to think. Each time the Moon says they don't know, the Sun grows more anxious and sad that maybe the Moon doesn't love the Sun and keeps them hanging. But at the end of the lyrics, the singer reassures you that it's fine if they don't love you and that you can always find someone else who may be for you. A pretty little story..

This song hits HARD. Correct me if I’m wrong but I think it follows a legend myth that says the sun was deeply in love with the moon so the sun kept trying to propose to the moon but the moon kept saying “idk” or “give me more time” the moon actually did love the sun but the reason the moon wasn’t answering is because the moon knows if it did say yes, the sun would explode or something of happiness or joy and would destroy the other planets and if the moon said no, the sun would turn cold and freeze the other planets. So the moon wants to prevent that from happening. Eventually the sun got tired of waiting and married Jupiter. I pulled this one out of nowhere but I like to think the great big red spot on Jupiter is a kiss from the sun idk actually. Anyways, the moon married the ocean and that the sun and moon still love each other so Saturn is carrying their rings. I’m not Brazilian. I’ve just seen this from other people. Actual story: The sun fell inlove with the moon and the moon fell in love with the sea and the sea is inlove with the moon and the sun proposed to the moon and the moon cant "decline" or say "yes" if the moon decline the sun will freeze hiself(NO MORE SUNLIGHT! 1! 1) and if the moon says yes the sun will explode in happiness and the sea will get sad so the moon keep saying "i dont know" and sun gave santurn(or Jupiter?) The rings for safe keeping but the moon keep saying that and later that night the moon kissed the sea without the sun knowing and when the sun saw them kissing he was anxiously angry and full of rage and the sun went to see the ocean/sea and he saw that the sea was with the moon he was so sad he froze is heart for centuries but lit up again and he still haven't moved on the moon even though the moon is engaged with the sea..the sun is still angry with the sea too even if the moon said "its fine! Just forget about it" he just kept getting angry and the earth said to the sun "move on already the moon is already engaged and about to marry the sea.." And when the sun heard that he was sad and frustratingly angry and when he tried to kill the ocean/sea he realized that he did a very bad thing and he froze his heart again

My aunt always told me a story about the sun and the moon when i was little, and I want to share it :) She says the reason why the sunset is so vibrant is so that it wakes up the moon, and so the sun can sleep, assured that earth is watched over. The reason why the moon doesn't do the same is because the sun is a 'light sleeper'. (I love corny puns lol) But sometimes, the moon mistakes the sunrise for the sunset, sometimes sleeping through the night, and other times, being awake during the day!
