    • I knowwww! This whole song is just full of amazing lines. This is what rap is supposed to be in my opinion. I think we are all tired of rapping only about money and x and violence. It could be so much deeper and so much better. There is so much potential. And I feel like the majority of rappers waste it. Yeah it's fun to have songs occasionally that are power songs. But this is the kind of music that I want. I feel like I'm definitely not alone. But that could be the 2010 emo scene kid in me demanding emo rap 😂

How can somebody so blessed wanna slit their wrist?".... "Damn I've got problems. Never thought a b*ch like me would ever hit rock bottom.".... "Why is you speaking on me at my lowest? When you acted like you didn't notice." "He say I'm crazy, don't I know it, ah!"

For example, the Hopi people of North America performed an annual snake dance to celebrate the union of Snake Youth (a Sky spirit) and Snake Girl (an Underworld spirit) and to renew the fertility of Nature. During the dance, live snakes were handled, and at the end of the dance the snakes were released into the fields to guarantee good crops. "The snake dance is a prayer to the spirits of the clouds, the thunder and the lightning, that the rain may fall on the growing crops.

    • It is a literal paradox to be both vulnerable and strong at the same time. Either she feels no shame in her degeneracy and takes full pride in it, or she realizes she is a victim of her sinful life style but is finding it difficult to escape (due to how profitable and pleasurable it is). It definitely isn't the latter, but the former should not be described as "strength" either, as being apathetic to the social ills one is causing is the very definition of evil.

  • As someone who has struggled with crippling anxiety and depression all my life, it’s honestly so refreshing to see someone like Meg, who’s seemingly on top of the world, be so vulnerable about her own struggles with mental health. Sometimes we look at celebrities and wonder why we aren’t as “perfect” as they appear to be. It’s easy to forget that they’re human, too, and struggle with similar issues.

During the dance, live snakes were handled, and at the end of the dance the snakes were released into the fields to guarantee good crops. "The snake dance is a prayer to the spirits of the clouds, the thunder and the lightning, that the rain may fall on the growing crops.

    • You are not alone! I fought a hard battle in 2019 with my deep depression. If I can do it, you can do it. Therapy and anti-depressants really helped me. I thought of them as tools not crutches. Maybe it can help you too? I no longer need medication but i know if i ever got depressed again i could use it again to help fight the battle. But everyone has their own preferences so no pressure! I'm rooting for you despite not knowing you. ❤

    • @@idcidc-jr8hiliterally. Ppl was already being negative about this song just because the theme “SEEMED” similar to Anaconda by Nicki Minaj when the whole story and lyrics is very different as you can see but ppl didn’t even wait to hear the song and see it before hating it’s so strange

  • When this came out I was homeless, on drugs, and then jail. I now have a house, job, and husband. This song and “Clover Cage - In The Sky” are the two songs that helped get rid of my depression. I just want to send love to everyone and I want everyone to know things will get better. We are in this together..I love you 💕😊

    • I have to say, I'm not really an up to date rap fan...I came over after hearing the song ft. Spiritbox...that being said, this video is fantastic. I have to be honest, I think I prefer this version. I'm a huge Spiritbox fan, but the song feels way more dark in their version. This was more affirmation, I've shed my shit and come out the other side...and I really enjoyed that...

  • This was exactly what we needed, Meg has evolved as an artist. Speaking on her recent challenges in life , her ability to shed light, shed tears, shed her skin and embrace her own inner struggles says a lot about her. Depression is real , anxiety is real, I’m proud of her resilience! LETS GO BABY BACK OUTSIDE, Back IN MOTION ! 💯🥳🐍❤️🐎
