Problem career wise for Drake now is he CANNOT stop making music even if he wants to. How can he possibly fulfill his contract to UMG dropping more albums with K Dot hitting him with headshots (pause) just for fun whenever he feels Like That & forcing Drake’s AI (artificially inflated) ego to a) respond only to take another L, or b) try to ignore Dot and still take the L losing his fanbase’s respect either way. Even if he bows out to Kendrick soon his rap career takes a punch so it’ll still be hard to make good with UMG. Goofie’s mouth literally signed a check he can’t even cash without mending the burnt bridge (unlikely), possibly renegotiating his contract (unlikely), changing genres (likely, already experimented on that album I can’t get through), or just stop half-stepping sneak snaking going full corporate and trying to ruin others careers since his started dissolving on 4/30/24 (more likely in my opinion). This battle is real money moves at this level, and Drake had to know that while making the smart move after control to downplay keep it subs or be hunted. That playbook been outdated.
