R.I.P to actor who played neville from nfs carbon
I didn’t think this was real till I looked it up, rip to my childhood
Sad he died too soon. R.I.P. neville aka Chris Gauthier. He was a Canadian actor. Besides nfs he is well known for playing the toymaker in Smallville.
That sucks, that dude was my favorite character from Carbon. Him and Sal both.

this is by far the best update we needed in this game, so glad Criterion did a PVP lobby to get lots of money easily, and with crossplay its fast to get a match with this pvp lobby
I wish they had a mix of all the playlist
I really wish these PVP features will be available against AI opponents offline, and we can pick any car we want for ourselves and AI competitors, even from our garages, similar to how juiced 2 did it back in the day, to form our own custom offline races. Those kinds of features have been missing from Need for Speed for so many years!
Yes please! Also a creative customization mode for modifying the sh*t out of any car you want without any restrictions and then test them on a track with a dyno, UG2 style. Maybe have them unlocked first.
Yeah! I miss the days of Quick Race and being able to play around with cars you don't want to buy in career mode.

I kinda love the idea of having more distinct handling types for different cars, if they're staying more with the arcade style it might give more of a meaning for a favourite brand or build
Recently got Unbound and the fact they still updating the game is COOL Cause im enjoying myself
Finally speedlists!! Years later!! No more driving around aimlessly

I played about two hours this morning. the multiplayer being it's completely own thing and rotating roster of events, loving it 100%. so far feels like a good push.
I'm so happy they keeping this game alive. I was afraid they'd do it dirty like heat

As someone who dropped Unbound for a long time and is willing to get back into it, is there a video I can watch that covers all changes from launch to now? I feel like I don't know where to start! 😅
We got PVP racing mode, we need that exact thing with linkups( everyone can vote his favourite and the most voted, will be the linkup for 16 players). It would make the game much better..... OR they should increase the frequency of linkups on free roam
i dropped this game after volume 3, but HUGE credit to criterion for sticking to their guns with this game, i might actually come back this time around.

I played 2 hours this morning and it seems like leveling up in the speedpass will take longer then before, but I do still enjoy unbound after 90 hours😅, so yea. And idk if i will buy the premium one because a 10er for only 1 car with bodykits (the rest of cosmectics i do not really care about) is a lot. Anyway glad to see that there is also a new handling model coming. And I also love the name of the last body kit, as a homage to the s1 quattro and michelle mouton who drove the s1 back then
In all honesty though, coming from someone who has never ever spent a penny on a battle pass system in a game, what they did with this one is very nice, and I am invested in need for speed so supporting them does sound like a good Idea

The new handling model on the Audis makes me want it on all cars tbh. It's very well done.
Probably its a 'beta trial' of sorts?. I could be wrong, but iirc in the press they wrote something about how they worked with Audi for it, and how 'currently' its only for the Audi cars. Implying it might be applied to all cars later?

Man I can't get enough of this update! I had to force myself to stop playing so I wouldn't get too high level. I have over 350hrs in this game. So glad my 47 cars won't rot just yet. I haven't even touched the new stuff in the story.

Audi returning is awesome. Not sure why it took so long. Must’ve been something with licensing, but I may actually play the game now.😅😅😅 I really hope whatever comes next for the franchise gets them back on track . The team is very small, considering most of them are working on Battlefield again, which is highly frustrating I love Criterion’s take on NFS games. I wish they weren’t divided between games AGAIN😢 Glad to see speed pass between single & multiplayer!!

Watch people complain about Unbound even more for getting amazing updates. This is not only going to be a great year for Unbound, but also NFS as a whole. Likely a good chunk more sales, updates which is a godsend for us, and hopefully more trust from EA

So I’ve built and driven all of the Audis. And they are basically the equivalent of wheelmode with a controller in motorfest.

Graphics seem to be improved, at least on series x. The car has self reflection so you can see the reflection of mirrors, spoilers and such on the car's body.
Yes I noticed it from the menus, they did list the improved reflections overall in the game in the feature list on the update page
If it's true, it's huge bump to get realistic screenshots, coz this was major issue for me, all spliters and those steps in the sides looked wrong reflecting what behind the car, but not the car itself.
I filled out an unbound survey, and it was a negative one, but with these updates, I may need to update it.

So real run down on the rs6: it doesn’t fully upgrade to S+, but S class it’s pretty damn good (slight bias) customization is closed behind the bp so there is the grind for the few people. Honestly just a really good car but I can’t wait till I grind out the other cars.
Also the leveling isn’t all that grinding because I only put maybe an hour into the races (only with 2 of my friends) and I’m lvl 12.
Not gonna lie i wasnt expecting much from critereon but ill give them props with this update. 👏 The speed pass seems pretty nice as well with plenty of goodies and only 10$ for the premium. Itll get me back into the game again! Definitely wanna try that R8!
Single player as in after you finish the story mode you can get the pass done doing races? Sorry still new to the NFS stuff

This is my 1st time seeing a station wagon in the NFS franchise.
SP 10 for the S5 and 25 for the R8
Only the W205 AMG is left, we have the sedan trio in NEED FOR SPEED Unbound
I'm sorry, but this is ludicrous. Why tf are they keeping the old bodykits and cars behind what is essentially a battle pass? I know they got to get their bag somehow but damn son 😭

Those are free in the pass you just need to level up, only the RS6 and there body kits is premium
I honestly align with the way they did things except with the fact that the RS6 itself is locked behind a paywall
assuming you didn't read what they said in the patch notes but only the rs6 and its bodykits are obtainable in the premium pass
@@phatburger7622 I find it pretty much dlc, which is fine to me given that it comes with new physics and a bunch of other rewards. Also that fact that you get so much already from the free pass- that's why there're so many levels on the speedpass Edit: also, no one is gonna talk about how you can test it out for free? The fact that 2 cars, already present in NFS Heat are sold at high price is crazy to me. Besides that I love the tribute that Criterion did to Michele Mouton, Rally Group B female driver legend

Never stopped believing in Unbound and it pays off. Still the best arcade racer out there, the sense of speed is unparalleled save for perhaps Night Runners but that game has some visibility issues.
