  • Do you think Lynne and Keith will be able to keep their house clean?

    @worldsworstneighbours@worldsworstneighboursАй бұрын
    • No they will not keep it clean. Doing a deep clean in a house doesn't resolve the core reason they are untidy.

    • Good rule of thumb: If you plan on using an item, research it first. If you have pets, research it in connection with each species. Cedar oil is highly toxic for animals, especially cats. Side note: oven cleaner will KILL birds so if you have birds, NEVER use chemical oven cleaners. Just always do your own research 🩷

  • I am so glad to see Hailey got rid of her bleach obsession and has gotten a whole lot more calm towards dirt and animals☺️☺️ i was genuinely concerned about her health for years probably due to constant contacts with bleach and not gonna lie pretty much half of the times i saw any hoarders or filth cleaning videos I was thinking about it! It’s just so good seeing a more relaxed person she became also😊😊

Women usually suffer from hormonal issues like PCOS or infertility from such exposure to toxins. And I’d wonder if she developed any problems.

    • I'm sorry but sometimes bleach is required. I personally like to use bleach when getting rid of mold. I found what I use vinegar it comes back. Bleach is about the only thing that will kill it the problem is people use too much you only need to do one teaspoon for a large bottle!

    • @@pjt3887 of course bleach can be used occasionally, for many things, there is no problem with that :) if only you saw earlier videos with her (like from 2008 or around that time in ocd cleaners) you would see she used bleach 5 times a day to wash all the surfaces in the house and in excessive amounts with bare hands even to the point she never even smelled it unless she put her nose next to it and she ran out of 5 bottles of bleach DAILY! It used to be an ultra obsession, while now it is in the normal range, she can use regular cleaners now, and we’re not talking about mold, i mean on everything else :)

  • I am an artist w/ severe ADHD, too. I totally get everything she said in her one on one talk. Our brains are so different! I like giving purpose to items that aren’t recyclable, so they don’t end up in a land fill. My spouse has OCD, and makes sure my stuff, stays in the studio. But I get the connection to art, as it’s my only outlet for my depression. It gives me purpose. No matter where someone is from, the diagnosis and symptoms are universal. I’m American, Florida, and I want Lynne to know, I understand. ♥️♥️

  • Why do people who can’t care for themselves insist on having pets??? It’s quite cruel to the pets. Those rabbits are living horrible lives. And the resulting rabbit droppings, food waste have to be detrimental to the humans as well. But I do hope that that lady can get back on track. She is creative and should do more creative activities. It will be easier with her new workshop…

      @worldsworstneighbours@worldsworstneighbours28 күн бұрын
    • @@worldsworstneighbours it brings people happiness absolutely! But it is at the expense of the pets happiness and health sadly.

      @teem9010@teem901028 күн бұрын
    • I have a feeling in this ladies case, the _idea_ of having pets to bring her happiness was just that, an idea. Easily implemented with the purchase of rabbits but that was about it. But the _reality_ was daily feeding and cleaning - constantly having to remember to buy rabbit food and hay, cleaning the hay that gets kicked out of the cages, actually cleaning the cages. Much less interacting with the rabbits. I also have a feeling her husband had totally given up trying to keep things on an even keel. He basically did nothing around the home except to live and suffer with the situation. Totally passive! Just imagine a living room with stacked rabbit cages and a flotsam and jetsam of rabbit food, rabbit dropping and hay on the floor. I am sure he spent much of his day away from the home.

      @Pammellam@Pammellam28 күн бұрын
    • @worldsworstneighbours The happiness of the animals matters every bit as much, of course! Rabbits do not belong in small cages. They are burrowing animals. Most people do not do research in the proper care and needs of captive rabbits😢

  • You can do this. One box at a time. Take 52 weeks, this will give you 365 days meaning 365 boxes to go. Dont bring anything new in during this time, only out is allowed. Problem tackled

    • Do you think this would work for life long hoarders?

      @worldsworstneighbours@worldsworstneighbours28 күн бұрын
    • @@worldsworstneighbours it is a start. 365 boxes decluttered mean 365 boxes of stuff OUT of the house. Don't bring nothing new in in this time is key of course. When you go through EVERYTHING wit awareness you will see what you already HAVE. THIS minimizes the urge to bring in new stuff since you are "shopping your stash"

      @Sunnivah13@Sunnivah1324 күн бұрын
    • 365 days without bringing anything in is not rational especially fir those with a very difficult time. There has to be a plan for a limited amount allowed. Fir example I do not buy a lot of music but there is an artist I need to buy when they have a new release, other fans would relate, I at least do not buy every variation especially if no music difference. I limit myself more on other music and music speaks to me in ways it does not for others. There should be a reward for those with adhd as well. Every x amount, receive y. And to say going through 1 box a day for 365 equals 365 out means everything in those boxes goes. You basically assigned someone panic. Going through boxes slower paced, I am disabled so slow is what I need to, means some goes and some stays, what stays should be labeled 1 pass. So you know anything easy is already gone. The rest is waiting for the really hard decisions and the how many of this do we have. I decided to box everything up and go through so I can actually put stuff where it goes. The past 3 years I was with a narcissist who ended up my paid caregiver. He never cleaned anything that was not in his way. Around his work table and minimal kitchen. Well he took over my sons room and his son taking the bed, my son on the couch. Most of my sons stuff was kicked out of there. He also brought stuff to his storage but some boxes bins were not full to appear as if I had more stuff. He left furniture blocking access to areas like my dressers are blocked by a cabinet and the bed. I can't get into my closet. It means clothes have nowhere to go when clean. I have a hamper by the entry door for all dirty. But clean..no home. My sons desk blocked off the roll top desk blocked off. Bookcase for books and games blocked. Room for the other chair that hooks to my desk chair so I can mound it with the pillows to stretch my low back so it doesn't pinch no space for it. So I can only be comfortable in bed. I need to figure out pillows still. Another headache my pantry closet has been blocked off and I have tried to squeeze an arm in to get stuff but eventually gave up. I noticed he moved stuff more up to it after. But my entry was empty when I met him now I walk through and knock into stuff. Plus without access I don't have the home for a lot of stuff and the single cupboard is packed in kitchen. If I can't see it, out of sight out of mind. I liked the pantry closet to spead stuff out and not deep. Everything divided by category type. He did not care yet verbally he would say I am not cleaning because I don't want to put anything in the wrong spot, yet he always put stuff in the wrong place, and he never did clean the bathroom once. Vacuum anywhere that wasn't the wood shavings from his "work". Tons of metal in the carpet and my deposit lost. I am very stressed from him. Under police officers watch he broke my paper shredder so I could shred anything with personal info on it. He ran paper backwards and jammed up the top. Thursday is the hearing, unless it gets delayed again. Domestic violence. And he broke the no contact order by texting someone and telling them to "tell her...." a couple times. If someone watches shows like this and say I never want my home to get cluttered...even subtract any filth bugs, do not date a narcissist, learn the red flags...I had no idea that a narcissist existed until my therapist helped me.

  • I'm a fairly newly diagnosed woman with ADHD, too. I can relate so much to what she says. You also don't see it, your brain just glosses over it, and then out of sight out of mind is so strong! It doesn't exist when we don't see it anymore :( That my home isn't like that is that we're minimalist and that my husband is adamant about keeping a certain level of tidiness.

  • There's absolutely no way I could sleep with all that Clutter in my bed, with or without my Husband! Either I'd stay up all night to clean it or I'd just start throwing EVERYTHING Away! Bc nothing is worth anything after being dirty so long & having dust mites, lint, dead skin cells & Rabbit poo everywhere! I'd also take the two Rabbits & all the cats to the Shelter & tell them to give them away! She'd be really sorry in the morning when everything on the bed & the floor had been chucked out & the Rabbits & Cats gone, too! But after you warn someone several times, it's all you can do! Who can afford to hire ppl to clean up THAT big of a Mess? NOW with all that Clutter gone, you could get the house clean! She also needs to have some Respect for the other members of her Family & do her hobbies in some other place besides the Dining Table, bc the family shouldn't have to eat elsewhere bc she's got the table loaded with hobbies & wax ruining the table! It's all very Depressing for them!

  • I can live that way all that mess it’s a choice it’s not ADHD or whatever else excuse you can get buckets and stuff to organize that you can clean sweep mop do something it’s a choice you’re making by not cleaning you’re putting yourself at risk living this way rabbits need more space than being stuck in the cage I don’t care I would’ve divorced her I would not live 20 years like that no way you have to have respect for each other and if you don’t even have respect for yourself well on your spouse and you’re making him do this and you won’t even let him organize I seen this face she gave him when he tried talking about helping getting rid of this and that she gave us our face because she doesn’t want to get rid of anything that’s a hoarder disgusting there’s shit everywhere that’s not healthy at some point you have to make a choice to clean up or leave the relationship so you can be healthy because she’s not healthy housing did a monthly check to for forcing healthy living conditions this wouldn’t be like this I want to be married to someone for 20 years and sleeping in another room barely enough room on the bed and you’re getting older it’s some point you’re gonna need an ambulance and how they gonna get to you gonna have all the stuff but clean up the mess in the garbage organize your instruments and everything else have a spot for it two manny excuses just clean it
