The poor dog looks traumatized & weary.
Doggy didn't seem very excited to see his owner.
The dog is like 58 years old…
@@troycampbell1214😂😂😂
He didn't seem excited about anything really 😂
@@troycampbell1214 You sound like you're 12
@@troycampbell1214you say that like 58 is beyond ancient! I’m 62 (and I can still get excited when I’m happy) 😁
Dogs don't walk off to die when they are in a loving home..
Something is off about this story. I don't trust the alleged "owner." Sorry, folks.
I feel the same way. 😏
Glad i'm not the only one who thought this stupid owner isn't to be trusted.
@@ScratchyBaws I agree!!! I am afraid for that dog!!!
🤔 Yeah… that struck me as a bit “sketchy” / “dodgy.” The dog wasn’t all tail-wags when she was hugging on him. Then again, if I were out running in the wilds for SEVEN YEARS, I might forget some familiar faces and smells. And this is the least of it all.
@@Ahuntrgw2013 Exactly!
Nugget doesnt look super thrilled.
The dog seemed not to be happy
In dog years Nugget is 126 years old and he's spent the last 35 of them limping 2000 miles across America. How happy would you be?
Woman who found Nugget shoulda kept Nugget. Who else agrees with me? I've never seen a dog's lack of joy being reunited with its "owner" before.
Sure looked like the dog had never laid eyes on her before. No recognition, no excitement at seeing her...nothing.
He's an old dog. Maybe he has mild dementia. My friend's dog was kind of spaced out like that a lot the last few years of it's life, not always knowing where he was or who his owner was. 😢
It appears to me dog is not happy to be reunited with owner
I do.
I thought the same, the dog does'nt look excited to see its owner
There’s a judge Judy video where she tells someone to put the dog down and the dog immediately runs to the man and she says that’s his dog it’s over. This dog doesn’t seem happy to see her at all. Pretty sad
That episode was so emotional,
Poor little guy doesn't seem to know which end is up, too much transition for the old man.
Yes I watched that episode......touching
Did the dog miss her? I suspect he didn’t like her.
I had the same feeling mate
The feeling looked mutual.
Nugget wasn't having it! No emotion😑
Her story, her dog walk of to go die for old age. This sound more likely she let go of her dog to be on its own.
Thank you to the rescuer woman angel who found Nugget and whisked him off to the vet!!!! She is an Earth Angel.
But 4 months earlier you had nothing good to post...?
That's crazy. She didn't care . They flew her down. That dog deserves better
She is a liar, she doesn't deserve him
Exactly how I felt
Why do you think she didn’t care.?
Pretty obvious are you watching & seeing what millions of other people are watching?@@KaitlynFaye
I honestly think she left him to die. She dropped him off and then drove 2000 miles away. I don't believe for A SECOND she wanted that dog back. She just NEVER thought he'd make it.
she just wanted to be on the telly
She said I thought he just went off to die... the dog couldn't have been that old 7 years ago... probably more like she left it to die and now it's only fair she had to take care of it as it actually died
BUT SHE looked for him, SO SHE SAYS. But which is it, did he run off to die so she didn't look or did she look regardless of his age. Strange story
They should have let the dog decide which owner to go to. It bet it wouldn't have been the one who (probably) abandoned him. Wherever you are lady I hope you take better care of him this time.
That dog does not like this woman, no way. I feel something is off.
That dog was not happy to see her.
Jennifer is an angel. She’s above a dog lover she is too real to be true. For someone to see a aging in bad shape dog pick it up to get it help is one in 1 million. I’m so happy he’s with someone who can take care of him for the rest of his life.
I can leave my dog for 5 minutes and come back and he acts like had not seen me in a months. That tail is going so fast and giving me dog kisses. Just saying. I hope the dog will be okay back with this lady. My dog Max is like my family. He is always by my side.❤❤😊😊
Poor dog looks traumatised 😢
Owner :- "Dog was already old so i thought it had just walked off to die?". SEVEN YEARS later and dogs still going, don't let this woman own another dog. 😡
@ScratchyBaws Totally. I was shocked at her careless & unloving response. Plus that poor dog survived being shot???...in her care or non caring home. "Dog was already old so I thought it had just walked off to die." They should have given Sweet Nugget a forever home somewhere else as Nugget is now old. Poor Nugget. I truly hope the best for Nugget, but Geez, I am concerned. That didn't sound like love.
I was waitting for nugget to be excited but nothing liked that happened. Hope the dog will have a happy life.
@@melissaallen3918 A call out of the blue after the dog's been gone 7 years...? No one would have hovered over the phone, awaiting news, for SEVEN YEARS. And the owner immediately flew to retrieve him, positively glowing with happiness. I have a sneaking suspicion that jealousy over her model like face and knock out figure is motivating many of the unkind comments being posted about this total stranger. Maybe you should look inside, be painfully honest, and try to stop hating women you don't know just because they're attractive and desired.
Yes something's very fishy about this
I hope the lady who found the dog, kept in touch with the owner, in case of the dog run away from her again.
I hope she takes care of Nugget in his old age.
GOD BLESS THIS PRECIOUS LITTLE ANGEL FROM ALL SORTS OF HARM AND DANGER. MAY GOD BLESS HIM OR HER WITH LOT'S AND LOT'S OF LOVE, HEALTH, HAPPINESS, SAFETY AND PROSPERITY 🙂🙂🙂🙂🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
Such a beautiful frosty face! Not many things better than that.
The owner just thought he walked off to? Ooook..... She seems like the type who just left him somewhere and said 'he must of ran away'. Hope Im wrong and the pup is doing amazing.
Something awfully fishy about this story. Eg the owner said she thought he went off to die since he was so old...if hes so old how come 7 years later, he's still alive?. And the dog himself didn't show any excitement seeing her again! ...somethings up here!
Something feels off about this whole thing. I feel like this dog was abandoned by the owner but since it made news this time & they flew her out she plastered on a phoney smile and pretended. I feel sad for this dog having to spend the rest of his days with this monster.
That is the feeling I got too. She did not seem to care for him at all. For her to say that she thought he walked off to die somewhere truly means something.
@@TrinhNguyen-sh4fj Some people don't emote the same way as you might or most people might. Especially when there are cameras in their face. I know I would feel uncomfortable being filmed. That doesn't necessarily mean they don't love their dog.
Agree...even her answer how she lost him was nonchalant....just thought he left to die because he was very old (and yet still alive after 7 years so not that very old then at the time). And that fake smile and tears.
The dog didn't look happy to see the "owner." I feel bad for the dog. I think it will not be happy being with her.
I agree that was a joyless reunion How was poor dog shot? Woman just wanted to be in video that was terrible
Dog was probably shot on the farm & when that did not work, had someone going on a long road trip to take the dog & dump the poor boy. I am not happy with this story ending this owner is heartless & the dog knows it .
Terrible dog owner and I can tell one of the type of people that just like to dress it up and not let it be a dog, treats it like a doll or a baby
Poor thing looked very awkward in her arms.
??
I expected her to cry with joy when she saw him. Maybe everyone reacts differently.
Dog doesn't look happy at all forgotten about the owner and vice a versa
Bless Jesse & Nugget! And all of you kind rescuers. Who believe i. These animals & honor their lives! ❤😂❤
Those signs with "I miss you mom". Freck off
Def don’t believe the original owner at all. He ran away…because he was old. The dog wasn’t even old. That lady dumped the dog.
Wait, he was shot, ran away from home and the owner shrugs her shoulders and says, "I thought he just ran off to die bc he was already old". And we're giving him back to her for what reason? This poor dog. How heartbreaking.
Maybe she was the one who shot him? :/
Poor pup, what he lived through to be reunited. I sure he didn’t leave. He was taken and escaped.
Poor Nugget! He looked positively traumatized while she was holding him. The owner should give him to a loving family, she was obviously not a happy camper to have the dog back.
Incredible story! Bravo good people!
Absolutely great people!!!
This gives me hope my little gray kitty will come back one day.
So happy for both of you !
Y’all need to LISTEN. Yes the dog didn’t react-she said the dog was old like 8+ years and they’re obviously much more disabled and slower 7 years later. She said the dog never left her side and she was surprised. And the narrator said she also had looked for the dog for YEARS. Listen before you speak/comment….
Y'all need to calm down. We listened. We watched. That poor dog had no interest in her whatsoever. Not one flicker or excitement; not when he saw her, not when he smelled her. Nothing.
She said VERY old and not just old. Our senior dog is 14 years old and I consider that old but not very given that he is a chihuahua. So what is very old to her given the size of the dog? If you believe her words, then that's you. She was kinda nonchalant about her answer. She thought he left her to die because he was very old? Then try to find the body? It was a lame answer and a lie to me. Did her other pets do that to make her think that way because usually cats have this tendency compared to dogs.
He didn't ran away you lost him..get it right!
Nahh, she dumped him. Too bad he was microchipped and became high profile so she had to take him back since they had to fly her in instead of her rushing to get her now old dog (very old 7 years ago, my foot).
@whatevergoesforme5129 this lady is b.s.......all my dogs and cats have lived 20 years or older,,I've never had a critter ran away,,7 or even 10 years is not old to me,,feel bad 4 the dog his going back to that....they're family and I would risk my life for them!
@@user-vb9wd8eo6z While watching this video I felt bad for the dog because I felt he wouldn't last long with that fake woman. And her atrocious answer how she lost him! Goodness, I doubt she even tried to look for him especially if my suspicion was right about what truly happened to Nugget. Sadly, I learned from a commenter that Nugget had died just within two months after being returned to that fake all smiley to the camera woman owner. Living on the streets for 7 years and surviving only to die within two months with his owner? I hope she did not have him euthanized which I was thinking while watching the video. Kudos to you for having so many senior pets. Some of our pets did not live that long but we now have a 14 yr old chihuahua, still going strong, and a 12 yr old cat, still going strong, and other youngr cats and dogs.
Can't believe he was even still alive!!!
Nugget was like i thought i ditched these lady
poor dog is near death
Such a beautiful dog
Is it possible that the dog hated this family and ran away? The dog does not show any joy is this reunion. The woman gives the appearance of being completely self-absorbed. The event was a good photo op.
She made sure her make up was all done.🙄
I’ve never seen one of these where the owner hugs the stranger before the reunited beloved pet.
Naaah, she dumped him miles away. Such a nonchalant answer. She thought he left to die because he was very old then? So how was he after 7 years?
Beautiful story. Kind regards from Belgium❤
That's so nice n beautiful ❤❤❤
There are good people in the world.
what a tear-jerking and long awaited reunion!
Miracles do happen. This is one of them. Pets are family and family sticks together.
Who tf does NOTHING after their dog disappears. "I thought he left to go die". Yeah with that mentality you will never ever find your lost dog, even if its in the shelter across the street.
She says with perfect make up and smiling. She sure loves the camera!
She SAID she looked for years and then whatever else she said. What is with comment communities…..
@@user-sw2wv1zx1t Well, you're here, aren't you?
@@user-sw2wv1zx1t Yes she said that. So people are always honest about what truly happened? She did not even rush to get her dog but had to be flown in. 7 years missing and had to be flown in. i would have borrowed my fare if I had no money. As a pet owner of dogs and cats, I tend to look for my missing pets even if I thought they left me to die (which happens to cats more) because they got sick and not just because they were VERY old (which was another weird answer....what to her is VERY old?). Most of the time I was able to find our cat's body.
Amazing!
Craziest thing I've ever heard!!
That so sweet thank you to people made possible
He never even looked at her 😢
Beautiful story
Thankfully nugget found his family
What a MIRACLE❤
OH WOW. This is an amazing story. ❤
Nugget knows best no emotion to the original owner? Something is fishy 2000 miles away she gave the dog away & the person just dumped the dog 🐶 beautiful dog & beautiful angel who rescued Nugget 😊 i love Nugget ❤ i hope the good people who unite dog & owners together checked the owner out as something is not sitting well with me 2000 miles come off it even a young dog could not walk that far away .
What a wonderful outcome
Poor dang dog. It will take him time to realize who she is
Wow. Amazing
I don't think Nugget knows who this person is or cares who this person is; at my age I understand.
Well Hi there precious little puppy!😊
Here's another reason to always have a collar and tag on your dog. I see too many stories where they never get scanned for a chip until years later. My cats all have tags too. They are indoor cats, but can sneak out on occasion.
absolutely however I don't think you can assume the dog didn't have a collar, as collars can come off or even be taken off.
The dog didn't know her.
❤
A miracle!
'Nugget' didn't appear to remember her...
Nugget be like-- jeebus, what do I have to do?!
It wasn't what I expected!! The dog didn't seem to recognise her and it ran away and she seemed quite happy saying he was an old dog.... I thought he just walked away to die somewhere... The dogs like rats, I got away once I can get away again lol 7 years is a long time to have been gone! Anyway I just hope he's happy and he's treated good
He already died
🤣🤣🤣
@@JTScott1988 HOw do you know he already died?
Of course this video made me cry 😢🐕🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗💋💋💋💋💋❤️
Love these videos!
Amazing story ....😅❤ All thanks to a kind soul who saw him wet and alone at nite. Bravo to a great lady!!!
Just learned from another commenter here that Nugget died within two months after being returned. Yes he was already very old here (but not 7 years ago as said by his nonchalant owner)? But surviving 7 years on the streets only to die within two months of being returned to his owner? When I was watching this video and saw the owner and heard her answer how she lost him (lies to me), I felt that Nugget should not have been returned to her since I feared he would just get euthanized (I don't know the details of his death yet), but learning of his death, natural or not, it just confirmed to me that he would not fare well.
Thanks for the update. A sad story all the way around. Nugget deserved FAR better than he got with this chick. RIP Sweet Nugget -- better luck next life.
Nope she should not have a dog. Poor little guy. He wasn't happy to see her. 😢
Great Reporting ❤🎉
After being shot he probably wasn’t so ecstatic to stick around and moved along
Nugget was not showing the signs of a joyous doggie who was reunited with his beloved, long lost owner. Hmmmmm
Dogs usually go by smell so maybe got that eventually. 💖✨💖
Nugget never recognized his owner.
Didnt seem to remember his old owner, how did he ever run away as she said he ever left her side, let alone get accross the other side of the country😮
What a good , nice story! By God !
How people continue to "lose their pets" is beyond me. It should be illegal for these people to own pets.
@j.y.3604 I don't get it either.
But at same time why don’t more people check to see if the stray pets they find aren’t microchipped?
Jennifer we love you.
Yes, there's definately something amiss here. It's, a great shame the Angel of a lady who found this precious little dog couldn't have kept him. I, don't believe for a second little Nugget ran away no way. Just, have a gut feeling, about this.
I don’t think this dog even knows her.
They flew her there. Hmmmmm. Usually the ecstatic owner finds a way to get to their found beloved fur child. Either way, I am happy that the baby is back under loving care, hopefully.
I know right? Yet another tell. And then poor Nugget was dead within 2 months of being put back in her "care". THIS is NOT the happy-happy story some here are all "YAYY!" over....
The dog still looked a bit lost...
❤❤❤
Wish nugget went to a owner who actually cares
❤❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉
Huh, the dog doesn’t seem happy-
Why shot?
