Even if I was sitting on millions I don't think i could bring myself to spend that much on shoes that im scared to wear because they'd do value and they'd just sit on a shelf. >

      @leequesada439@leequesada4394 ай бұрын
    • @@leequesada439 So if "no offense" why say "braindead"? just say its not for you. Also bear in mind, most people are buying these on the chance they'll increase in value....ergo....an investment. Other people will wear them because they can. I'm 47 and own a lot of retro 90's Reeboks, etc because its my youth and I like them. Some people fish, some people drink, some race cars...some buy shoes.

    • How hard is it to communicate with someone over a pair of shoes?

      @frankiemontana-@frankiemontana-2 ай бұрын
    • @@leequesada439Hoping to bring light to the sneakerhead mentality. I think everybody has their domain of choice that they are happy to splurge on. For some people it’s cars, sound systems, tech, collectors cards, etc. I think what we all have in common is an appreciation for the craft that goes into making these things. It might not seem like it, but typically for a lot of the $150-600 range shoes there’s a lot of craftsmanship that goes into it. For example, the material of the different parts of the shoe, whether or not they want to change up the shape, features, or accessories of the shoe, picking the t pallet for the shoe then deciding where each color is gonna be placed. Even the placement and orientation of the logo of a shoe can make a huge difference (i.e. Travis Scott’s iconic reverse Nike swoosh). The result of that labor is a shoe you are excited to wear, and rhe fulfilling part for sneaker heads is curating a collection of sneakers you are proud to own. For example one of the shoes I own (Space Hippie 03) is a concept shoe that’s 80-90% recycled material, a shoe meant to show that shoes made from renewable materials can look cool too. Some other shoes I own just look nice and that’s okay too 😁

    • @@TruthHurtzandHealz but bad shoes can lead to problems. I don't know if you're aware but bad shoes with poor quality can form back problems. You think I'd want to pay a bad steel toe boot and gamble that it'd be as good quality as the actual brand? Also a lot of knock off stuff use all sorts of questionable methods to color and prevent the shoe from outside problems like bacterial growth, splinters, flimsy material can cause sprain and wearing bad shoes for the sake of style can cause your toes to become deformed. So yeah, i can throw things on my feet and call them shoes. Problem is you're ignoring why things are priced and not respecting the craft. Again, I'm not a sneaker guy. But when it comes to protection, also for the sake of any future problems. Counterfeit people do not have your longevity in mind. They'll even use harmful chemicals to color things that can irritated be toxic to you through skin contact. Your rebuttal is completely ridiculous Like your name says, truth hurts. This was back when Jordan was still playing basketball. I also know that people collect the shoes, put them up, & sometimes try to resale them years later down the road. Then there are stores where the owner has bought used ones, professionally reconditioned them & then sets up a used resale shoe store for these popular shoes. So are these people buying the used shoes that have been reconditioned only to find they're fake? Or, are they trying to buy current popular Jordan's that are brand new & the current craze only to discover that they're fake? If it's the later, what reputable store would sake a fake used shoe...ie..purchasing brand new ones at a Nike store or other kind of sports store, or Neiman Marcus, etc.?

    • They are not fake sorry. Nike has sub-contracts with thousands of manufacturers all over the world like China, Vietnam, South Korea, Japan, India, Bangladesh, Thailand, Cambodia, Mexico, Brazil, Honduras, Belize, etc to cut labour costs and the cost of material. Don't blame these people but blame those businessmen who make those contracts overseas. It's not the fault of the shopper or buyer but they want to make good deals too since most everything is overpriced in the U.S., Canada, Australia, Europe, etc. Even the packaging will differ depending on which manufacturer and country it came from. That guy thinks everything in the store thinks everything is made in the U.S.A. obviously each country that has contracted manufacturing from NIKE have their own type of packaging as per instruction on the contract specifications. That guy in the store is the final end of the product as POS but he travels with these NIKE executives who sign these contracts with these overseas manufacturers are the ones who do these things that know the real facts. Ya right, they're not real? You're the one that is NOT real. Like I said each manufacturer or country may have slight differences in the cut, material and coloring. They call those shoes "Factory Defects" but they are still made by the same NIKE SUB-CONTRACTED MANUFACTURER and usually are sold off market with below market discounts. I bought 4 pairs once during a stop in Southeast Asia. Some countries even sell those that were not shipped due to slight factory defects but they are still legit made by the NIKE contracted manufacturer. Go to Vietnam or South Korea or Japan because you really do not know that much. FACTORY DEFECTS ARE REJECTS NOT PASSING Q.A. SPECIFICATIONS, THAT'S ALL. STILL THE SAME BRAND NIKE BUT MANUFACTURED IN SOUTHEAST ASIA. It is the same brand and is the real deal. For sure it is NOT MADE IN THE USA but NIKE made those contracts in those countries for real because labour cost in North America is way too expensive for the company. My word?? DUE DILIGENCE. GO TO THOSE COUNTRIES WHERE NIKE HAS THOSE MANUFACTURERS CONTRACTS WITH NIKE IF YOU STILL BELIEVE THOSE NIKE CONTRACTS WERE FAKE. THOSE WERE REAL CONTRACTS. DIDN'T TRUMP EVEN SAID THAT HE WANTS THOSE COMPANIES PULLED OUT OF CHINA AND MOVED SOMEWHERE ELSE LIKE MEXICO, BRAZIL OR COLUMBIA? Stop faking those people. I don't know if you're stupid or you really know how to scam people. Really? Really??? REALLY????? DUE DILIGENCE DUDE.
