This was meant to be a review, but I ended up rambling on for so long that we sold the car before I could finish it! Oh well

I love the agriculturist sound to the pajeros engine
Where did you get the boot mat from? Looking for something similar in WA. Great video!
So informative!
Great review.. I’m a Pajero nx owner/ fan and I completely agree with this review. Good job 👌
Thank you!
Bloody fun on a dirt road, it really will Rally.
Interesting comments. I've had a NW 3.2 for a couple months now and some stuff I agree with and some I don't. The engine although slightly noisy, is only noisy when you are beating on it and outside of that it has the nice diesel rumble quite appropriate to the type of vehicle, the important thing for me, it is a well proven reliable unit which isn't ruined by lots of high tech emissions and gives decent power and economy. It's pretty much sitting right at the sweet spot. The seats are definitely designed for fat people. I'm not a fat person and they aren't as supportive as I think they should be but can't fault the material. It's hard-wearing leather, once again suitable for the vehicle. I don't expect soft leather like you'd find in a 5 series, this is an offroad vehicle and Im pleased they have put a tougher leather in it. I do wish there was a bit more lateral support on it however. The auto is a good unit. These are getting old, and the Aisin auto has proven its worth in terms of reliability, and that is king. No point having a fancy auto if it breaks. Pretty easy to add the aftermarket lockup controllers to these too. yes, there are more modern autos with more gears, faster shifts and more lockup ability, but at the end of the day these get the job done. Hard to complain about that. It only feels slushy when you are towing or driving hard, in normal casual driving although its not fully locked you dont really notice it. Ive come to this from a much more modern 8 speed auto and honestly, it's not that bad.
“I would not touch a prado... ever” 👌👌😂
They are gross Thanks for watching!
Hi mate, we are in the market to buy a 7 seater suv and the choice is either Pajero NX or Pajero Sport. PS has more safety tech & more modern features (comfort etc) which the missus loves but me being a fan of dakar, i've always wanted one. Would you think it's a good buy for the Pajerosaurus in it's final year? Oh, with the EGR issues, do you think it will be a problem if the car was used for school runs and to the shops only and perhaps a good drive on the weekend by me just to loosen the clog up? I feel like I owe to own one. great vid and keep up the good work. Sub'd.
I would buy a Pajero Sport. In fact, I sold this NX and bought a brand new Pajero Sport just last month. A much better car than the old NX Pajero
@@alexaescht Oh really. Good on ya. Hope you get the chance to film it just like this vid. Thanks for the recommendation.
Thanks mate! As soon as I have the time
@@alexaescht I think if Mitsu didn't plan on killing the Paj they would've invested much more time and energy into making the Pajero much more modern, like the PS. Really a shame they killed it off, damn fine vehicles they are.
It would have taken a whole new car to make that happen due to modern crash safety and emissions laws, unfortunately
Hello, what year model does a mitsubushi pajero euro 4 compliant started? Thanks.
They’ve been Euro4 since around 2006 in Australia
Hi, i so your video about diesel purge. But I have a 3 cylinder 1.2tdi Fabia and it has different fuel lines. I tryed to proceed, but didt work. Can you help me fint the right conection please
The one above the rail needs to go to the right
The video description 😂😂🤣
Upgrading to a prado 2022 model the comfort really let’s the Pajero down had one for 5 years since new 2015 MY16 towing is utter crap uphill 2.4-5 tons 70-80kmh the performance is decently good it’s punchy off-road it’s really good but overall the negatives outweigh the positives in light of the competition.
Don't like it? That engine sounds great to me. Great review btw👍
Do we have these in the U.S?
No
please ne videos
Still waiting Pajero Sport review mate?
Sorry mate, already sold the car as we didn’t like it
@@alexaescht huh 🤔 fair enough. What didn’t you like about it? I’m in the market for a 4wd and both Pajero’s are on my list. Also mux and Everest. Although Everest is bloody pricey and it’s a Ford haha. Want to keep it for years to come. What would you recommend?
It’s a hard question. I think in all fairness the Paj Sport isn’t a bad rig for what it is. We just had high expectations that it didn’t live up to. Everest drives ten times better, but yes is overpriced, about to be replaced and is a Ford. MU-X is bulletproof but hardly the last word in refinement. Have a look and a drive of all of them and see what works for you. The Paj Sport might fit your needs and budget better than it did to us. Biggest cons of it were: On road handling Performance (esp high speed overtaking) Headlight performance Interior is very fragile (seat bolsters wear incredibly quickly, heaps of gloss black everywhere) Engine is noisy Ride quality is pretty bad (very jiggly yet really boaty in corners) Steering is too slow But it is pretty cheap for what you get, the tech is good and they’re great off-road and at towing.
@@alexaescht Appreciate that. Thanks Alex, gives me something to think about. Being a man who has owned and spent time in both Pajero’s which one would be your pick? As I said I’m looking at both but can’t justify the price for the old girl. Prices seem to be more than a New Paj Sport.
I think most people would prefer the Sport. I just have unrealistic expectations (mostly outright handling and power)
Mr bean 🤭
