Somebody on Reddit said it best. If every one of these players had left and another team was able to manage signing all of them, it would be noted as one of the biggest free agency moves ever. This is a huge accomplishment to keep all these big pieces. This never happens. Keeping all of these guys at home is incredible. Let's go win it boys!
I bet $$$ that was Ballard or one of his people that said that. Pittman was a great signing but most of the rest were over payed. Go look at how much the Colts’ starting QB, RB, WR1, LT, RT, & TE make… Why invest so much money in the least important positions on the field? Kenny Moore is great & they had no choice bringing him back but what’s the point when the 2 outside corners are the worst pair in the league? Why not invest in a better outside corner who’s fast enough to guard the elite WRs? Stewart is a good player but he’s not good enough to play on 3rd down. Paying him $13M a season is ludicrous. Of the 2022 Colts’ LB room they have the 2 worst still here. Letting Okereke, the #1 coverage LB in the NFL go through incompetence shows how bad of a GM Ballard is. The only hope comes from the fact they have a good HC bc Ballard is as bad as it gets.

Man I know people are upset that Ballard hasn’t made more big moves but keeping our guys is huge. That chemistry is crucial, and it’s hard to build when you’re constantly cycling guys through the building.
