You can tell Rodri is an intelligent fellow. His command of the English language is phenomenal. He will make a great sporting director some day.
He actually has a degree in Management and Business Administration.
He also has a masters in theoretical physics I heard. But he changed to playing football rather than pursuing academics. Definitely made the right choice regarding remuneration.

He doesn't make me nervous. Kevin De Bruyne makes me nervous. Hernández can be goaded into mistakes (both mental, like the time he choked that Forest player, and tactical, like that ill-advised pass that led to a Kane goal), and if need be, he can be marked out of games for whole periods. (Think about that, a #6 being marked himself). I've seen Arsenal do that with inferior personnel even in matches where Hernandez actually scored.

People said Man City was Haaland dependant, yet the team arguably performs better without him and is still in the title race. Man City is Rodri-pendant, HE is the guy that makes the team stick like glue. He is the one offering defensive command while everyone else is looking to overload the front. He is the guy that comes in with the bangers when the time is needed and things look like gloom. He is the leader that other players in the team follow. He is the one organizing the transitions and covering everyone's tracks. Rodri isn't underrated, but usually goes overlooked when talking about the most important players for Man City's squad. I also have to say, this is one of the best interviewers I've seen. PRetty insightful and respectful, covering topics we all want to hear about. Raise her salary and put her on more interviews.

Not only the best CDM of the world but also a graduade with a degree in business administration. No social media and donates a part of his salary regularly. A model professional. He also comes from a family where academia is highly valued (Both his parents are university professors). This probably answers why many in the comment section found him very articulate.

Just depends on the lenses we wear. Both are exemplary footballers. Rodri is the best in controlling the tempo, dictating play and breaking lines, Rice is the best in interception in the world and has great burst.
