I have something similar for my Android phone but it never worked reliably. For a while I had this idea of building a micro camera into a small arbour for use on a milling machine , to centre with, or even a lathe but the technicalities of it is beyond my amatuer electronics capabilities.
I have one, it works quite well
Thanks for the video, I bought mine about a year ago and I very enjoy it. Have you already tried to buy a smaller cable. Never be able to contact the company about this and this model is not available on their website.
would be great if you could attach any image taken with the device to take a look of the image cuality

Hi Florian Thanks. I kept mine in its original box in the end. Although I have seen some nice camera type boxes on eBay. I haven't checked out the sizes yet though.

Steve You mentioned the focal length 40cm - 5000cm On the website it says 40mm-5000mm

Hi sir, thanks for the video, Could you please check the video file properties in your computer, does it really in 1080p video resolution? How about the bitrate of this video? Or maybe the file size of the video? Because I'm not sure if the video resolution is 1080p... And because the video file extension is .mov not .mp4 or .avi
It is high definition. When you see it on the unit in reality the picture and videos are excellent. This video was shot under lighting so it may not look so good but you will be really pleased when you see it on the endoscope in reality. Regards Steve

Thanks for your video. I bought this exact cam for inspecting internally damaged wind turbine blades. Worked for about a week. Pretty average quality overall. Typically cheap chinese. Picture quality is not that great. Unit is very glitchy and constantly needed resetting. Now when i turn it on, either the unit freezes, or the lights turn on and off randomly, or no camera detected at all. Going to try sending it back for a refund as it is definately not industrial quality and am sure a replacement would break very soon too as it feels cheap! No mention anywhere of any kind of warranty either.
thanks for the review, I have the same scope, and it worked great for about 1 hr and now all I get is black screen. The monitor screen turns on, led on camera turn on but no image on screen. Any advice?
It sounds like it is faulty. I really don't know. Maybe you can get a replacement?
I have a similar unit, the 127. How do I get the video file off it? Its wont copy or play on windows but plays on the scope. thanks
i made another video and it copied ok. maybe I didn't hit stop and powered it off. false alarm
I recovered the video with recuva under formatted or deleted in adavanced settings
Hi Steve I'm really surprised that you rank this unit so highly I've found it to be all but useless. The lens is too short a focal length so in very tight situations you can't really see what it is you are watching and which side is up. If you are using it in a dark area the backscatter from the Camera LEDs on the high setting so degrade the image that all you are seeing is white screen. I've made a couple of led light sticks so I can turn the inbuilt led off. In addition the 5 meter cable is very very stiff and heavy. I very much like other videos you have made but yours seems very different to mine

showed some foams instead how the image is with the mirror - failed
mine came with a SD card guess i got lucky lol
I thought it was a "borescope" but with a 8mm camera most of the popular rifle bores wouldn't be viewable.
Hi Gary. A borescope means for looking into a bores in general, on engines for example, obviously one wouldn't be able to look down a rifle barrel, but I use mine to check inside air rifle cylinders etc.
