Most saddest backstory for me : 1. Gaara (seeing his most trusted person one after another trying to kill him, and he lack sleep since once he sleep one tail will take over his body and start massacre the villagers), 2. Karin (seeing her mother life slowly drying up in front of her own eyes, and she will have same fate next), 3. Sasuke (seeing by his own eyes his parents killed by his most trusted brother), 4. Naruto (child of a hero but treated no better than street dog, need to find his own food in the wild at 3 y.o), 5. Kakashi (his father, teacher, and friends died one after another), 6. Nagato (same case with kakashi but atleast he have konan), 7. Itachi and obito (even tho they have tragic background but i have no sympathy for them, since they exerminate a 1000y.o clan from a baby to old peoples left none except sasuke).
