  • I honestly like how he doesn't rush to answer, but just takes his time. Truly a master of zen. Knows there is no rush.

  • For me the Enso represents the conditioned mind which banters about what is known (ego). The opening represents full access to our innate Cosmic Mind…that which is beyond the circle, beyond knowing. It is readily accessible and essential in resolving the ego’s limitations.

  • ~it is mostly important that what is within the circle is the same texture in what is external to it~when one becomes that then what is the rim is never felt again and the Spirit is born of that SOUL*~

  • Having been to numerous of Kaz's brush retreats, this is how he explains things. Very deliberately, slowly and precisely. To mistake his delivery as some sort "trying to remember," is sadly inaccurate.

  • In other words let go and let god.. if not you just go around and around... but with all the information and temptations is pure anxiety.. it seams so hard to just be obedient to sift through thoughts and know what you should listen to and what you shouldn't..so many wants and hopes... but so little time... faith is so power full that if you hear a dog barking miles away and you quietly say shut up it suddenly goes silent...i wish i wasn't so foolish... when i was a little boy even some of the worst things were somehow good but now im just defeated

  • what could "going beyond intellectual divisions possibly" mean? he is using the very instrument of thought to discuss something he is thinking about. that itself is a "division". you can't escape it! "simple"? these things can only exist in our thoughts. it's a trap you can never escape.

    • he is using the ego-mind (intellect in this case) in order to explain and describe things to people who have yet to realize that the mind goes much deeper than this. yes it may seem impossible to our intellect but that's exactly the essence of which he's speaking, to enter the experience of non-duality, one has to release their identification with the tiny intellect mind in order to see that nothing is what the intellect makes it to seem.
