Regian Eersel is undoubtedly the number one best lightweight in the world whether it’s Muay Thai or Kickboxing. I also think he deserves to be in the pound for pound lineup too.
Agreed. I was literally just having that exact discussion with a friend. I truly believe he is top 5 of all Muay Thai fighters in the world. So many weapons at his disposal.

Sinsamut had a good gameplan , keeping distance and scoring with kicks but it was too obvious that he's scared of close distance trading with Eersel. Eersel is tougher than he looks like, the amount of kicks he ate (and checked which I like) while pressuring was impressive.

The crazy thing about liver shots, and we’ve seen plenty as fight fans, is that some look like devastating gut wrenchers causing fighters to immediately fold in pain. while others look less intense/powerfully delivered yet, fighters still fold in the same exact manner. It’s such a devastating shot that all u need is accuracy
If you look at the slo mo that body hook dug pretty deep into sinsamut
You could look at naoya inoue he's expert at liver blow you can feel the pain when you watched him delivered those punch

Regian should get a lot more for all the achievements he did. I think one or two people at ONE must not really like Eersel he always seems very low on the marketing scale.

Shame for Sinsamut. I thought he was a head by one round. Had he stayed up I think he would have edged it. But that's how combat sports go.
Sinsamut got tired like Eersel predicted. Eersel was saving up, only using minimal accurate hits. Eersel is goddamn smart.
No shame at all, the Thai gave all he had, only the opponent was too much more technical and powerful than him and he lost with honor : in defeat you see who is great, since in victory it is easy.

Sinsamut should have clinched and elbowed a lot more. Counter the pressure with elbows , absorb the pressure with clinch.

I don't think anybody in the world can put up such a challenge for Regian Eersel twice under Muay Thai rules. Sinsamut did well enough that he deserved a third fight IMO.
100%, he gave Eersel two of the toughest fights of his career (the other was Arian Sadikovic who dropped him)
Yeah, but he's going to have to work his way up to that again. You don't get another chance at the title after losing twice in a row. Arguably, he didn't really even deserve this immediate rematch even if the first fight was close. It's mostly because the division in their weight class for Muay Thai rules specifically is a little shallow in One. Great talents but not a large pool of challengers yet. Nieky is not in his prime anymore, although still always dangerous and Cosmo isn't in his prime either. Either of those two would be good challenges though because they are legends and it's a good story since Cosmo has a win over Regian from years ago.

One thing is clear from this fight : Chingiz Allazov would lose to both of them by KO under any rules if Chingiz decide to move up ( which he said he wanted to ). Both Eersel and Sinsamut are too big, durable, tall, long and strong enough to knock Allazov in less than 2 rounds even under Kickboxing rules.
Liam nolan is also there to stop allazov, you also have eddie abasolo in the roster. No way allazov would think of moving up
@@gemzz0916 Nolan is 77 KG, Allazov hasn't yet decided to move to 77 KG. And also Allazov will NEVER fight Liam Nolan under Muay Thai rules. Nolan got KOed by Enriko Kehl under Kickboxing rules at 70 KG. Eddie is no longer a 77 KG fighter he is gonna fight Niclas Larsen at 70 KG in a few days.

Need a third fight. Sinsamut did enough to win the first fight IMO so they are both 1-1 against each other. Sinsamut did great in the rematch he won the first 3 rounds clearly. There's no one for Eersel under Muay Thai rules except for Sinsamut. Liam Nolan, Rungrawee, etc... are all easy fights for Eersel, only Sinsamut can defeat him ( Like he did in the first fight ).
No. The first fight was close, but Sinsamut lost. This fight, Ersal, dominated. There is no need for a third, Sinamut would lose again.

It would not have been a robbery if sinsamut would have won the last fight, but ersal did not get blown out either in the first fight. In this fight, ersal did not want to leave it to the scorecards.
