  • Hello guys. Sorry for the delay in Napoleon episode two, we needed a little break. Rest assured it will be released over the next few days with part three next weekend. In the meantime, we'll be releasing a few compilations starting tonight and normal service of two videos per week will resume after Christmas. We hope you are all well.

  • It's ironic that Goering was not retained by the german army despite being their best pilot and por.le.merit winner,and Hitler an unproved corporal and iron cross winner was retained. Consider that the german army had a limit of 100,000 at the end of the Great war. Consider also that hitlers iron cross first class is like a bronze star and Goering por le merit is like The Congressional medal of Honor. This strange dichotomy makes the german army's choice to dump the one but keep the other very strange seemingly. There must be reasons but whatever they were , were hidden well.

    • Hitler got his iron cross from a jew. Interesting how some of the Nazi party members were helped or awarded in some ways by Jewish people. Julius striecher absolutely hated the jews. You would think he wouldve had a higher position given that. He hated jews so much his own party had a problem with HIM. Another motive for me as a kid to dig deeper given that contradiction, assuming the definition of that word hasn’t changed at this point 🤔

  • They were criminals BUT as far as the Nuremberg trial was concerned...in retrospect the trial's role and purpose has been weakened by the fact that Stalin was not on trial. It only served to expose and put National Socialism on trial, but did not dispense justice. Decades before Hitler and this group of thugs even came to power Stalin had *already murdered* hundreds of thousands and.... tens of thousands as Lenin's right hand man while Hitler was *barely out of the army from WW1*. Worse, Stalin would go on to murder 30 million more in the gulags and purges well after Hitler and all these criminals were *already dead*. Also...the fact is as follows: WW2 was started when Stalin *AND* Hitler invaded Poland *together*. Stalin murdered 20,000 Poles and buried them in the forest before the Nazis even had a chance to start killing the polish Jews.

    • @@cryptolinksinvesting2058it’s crazy that Americans still think that dropping atomic bombs on Japan was necessary and ended the war. Japan were negotiating peace and only wanted to keep the emperor. Dropping them was nothing but trying out their new toy. The bombing of Dresden is also hailed as ‘this is war’ and won the war. I have been shocked to hear the Americans saying this when the comparison between Dresden and Gaza. Their education about ww2 is crazy. Bombing places like Dresden didn’t ’lower morale of the population’. The opposite happened. The way Germany was treated after ww1 was disgusting. It’s no wonder a party like the Nazis gained popularity.

  • in hungrey the german security police and hungarian authorities started working together in mid-May 1944 to systematically deport hungarian jews. Chief of the group of "deportation experts" employed by the hungarian government was SS Colonel Adolf Eichmann. The Jews were rounded up and pushed onto the deportation trains by the Hungarian police.

    @PakBallandSami@PakBallandSami5 ай бұрын
    • Himmler wanted to use the Hungarian Jews as hostages in his effort to negotiate with the Allies. Without Hitler's knowledge, he was working to ensure his own post-war position. As one of the last groups to be sent to the concentration camps, the Hungarian Jews suffered the misfortune of being constantly moved to avoid the capture of German forces by the Allies. In Himmler's mind, the Jewish prisoners had value as bargaining chips. I personally considered it foolish that ,while being attacked on all sides by the Allies, that Nazis were wasting valuable fuel, trains, and personnel on an effort to implement the untenable "Final Solution".

  • It would add some perspective if you would put some specificity about what these officers were charged with at Nuremberg. It's easy to imagine did they work convicted normal behavior in commanding troops at War -- and it's just as easy to imagine that they executed of starved prisoners of War, or enabled the execution, rape, and torture of civilians in the areas that they occupied, or allowed soldiers under their command to steal all the food and butcher the livestock and burn the barnes & houses. What we're being given is information without meaning. What you tell us does raise the possibility the Germany's defeat could be in park attributed to Hitler interfering with battle plans and repeatedly firing his top officers.
