Well word on the street is James Corden's spot might be available. Although personally I prefer Craig Ferguson who had The Late Late Show before Corden. But since the late night show hosts are a relatively small group.

Mike is fine, but Jimmy and Mike are very different. No one can replace Jimmy. Jimmy is a unique genius. Jimmy is very smart. The audience is a little emotional. But the statistics of video views and comment showed the truth. This is the first time that Jimmy's monologue has been viewed less than a million times. Mike's statistics are very low and have no quality. I hope Jimmy comes back soon❤💜👍😍🌺

Please check out his stand up specials, Thank God for Jokes, and The New One, and get to know his hilarious everyman stories. I know I'm not the only one delighted to see him reach a larger audience, and killing it as a stand in for Jimmy this week.

You’ve got a great mom! Your very lucky to still have her in your life! There are so many of us that unfortunately that our mother has passed on! So thanks for sharing yours with all of America! Last week I did not know you, now I’m a fan and will try and see one of your shows! Your a very funny man and extremely qualified to replace Jimmy and in my opinion are better than some of the regulars on the east coast night time shows. Bravo young man!

Mike Birbiglia's The New One was on Broadway... so yeah, he can handle it even if it isn't his normal format. Watch it on Netflix, it's a wonderful, funny, story that is honest and smart, just like all his work.
