I'm rocking the H6PRO because of your reviews and I keep watching every versus video you release. Also I noticed we both have the same Elgato mic and boom arm :), This arm is brilliant !

Thank you for your support. The Virtuoso Pro is impressive. It makes for a good Elgato combined headset, but they need to make a closed-back version.

Nice review. Do you happen to know how these compare to the Astro A40+Mixamp TR? That’s my current headset.

The TR is definitely brighter than Virtuoso. The TR’s bass range muddies the mids more than the Virtuoso. The mic on the Virtuoso is better. The Astro mix amp is great, and worth keeping.

Does the Corsair need a DAC to sound good? And what EQ software did you use?

It’s 32 ohms, so it doesn’t require an amp. I don’t remember what EQ software I used; iCUE’s EQ maybe.

comparing an open back vs a closed is not how I'd go here but, I am intrigued by the V. Pro's. With the PC38x I don't know that I need to, though

You can compare anything to anything in this world. People are not interested in what is the same, but instead, what is different about them. I get a lot of viewers telling me they are having a hard time deciding between an open-back and a closed-back headset purchase.

Completely different sound signatures. Its fine if you like both, but they are not the same so that's why I said it's not 2 headsets I'd compare.

You didn’t state which headset you’re talking about. H6PRO is the way to go, and only you can decide if it’s worth the price tag. You didn’t say which currency the 150 is in.
