These 2 guys smiling, laughing like kids makes me so happy that I'm a Sharks fan. This team is close, camaraderie is strong. Seems like something that DeBoer has succeeded in bringing to this team

Jumbo is THE NICEST guy!! Was at Fan Fest for the Sharks last year. My bro & I paid extra to go into the “Beer Garden” where the players serve you & take pics & stuff. Instead of a group of players being out for at least 30mins(there were fans in the arena that got free access & the players rotated), they went back in to the arena after about 20mins. Considering how longs the lines were to get up to a player, you didn’t stand much of a chance at 20mins, so my bro, who was at the front of the line was complaining rather loudly when Jumbo walks right by. He stops in front of my bro & says,” you wanna take a pic with me?” My bro, not being stupid, of course says yes. Jumbo then stayed outside an extra 45mins signing autographs & taking pics even though he was supposed to go inside. All the guys I met that day were great. Signing merch, taking pics. Just really nice. Only one that didn’t want to interact with fans in the beer garden when I saw him was Logan Couture. And I’ve already met him & got his autograph. Met his dad in the airport too. His dad even followed me on Twitter

I worked as a Bellboy in a Buffalo New York hotel for many years the Boston Bruins and San Jose( latter ) I got to know Joe Thornton on a personal level driving him to restaurants to and from practice we talked many times he remembered my name each tim e he came into the hotel. And then I no longer work for the hotel but I always rooted for this guy and I always will and I want him to win a Stanley Cup more than anyone ever could it really kills me however that I have to root for the Toronto Maple Leafs to win the Stanley Cup a lifelong Buffalo Sabres fan that's unheard of but Joe Thornton was just that great of a guy
