  • Yes there's some performance drama thrown in, but mostly he's got to place himself 'in the zone'. The level of concentration required to produce / deliver this level of precision and quality of sound is phenomenal. We hear beautiful notes. Vocal specialists are awe struck by the number of shifts between his vocal apparatus and range of techniques he displays to deliver this, and at such quality pitch and register. You don't need to be embarrassed about becoming 'Dishmashed'! We ARE is the presence of greatness.

  • 👉 Dimash dedicated (Dedication - Arnau) his concert series to his Dears. After two long years waiting because the pandemic, the concert finally took place. One of the greatest moments in my life. I cried and laughed, sang and cheered. Dimash sings every single song brilliantly and flawlessly, sometimes like in the video (Olimpico), sometimes with new arrangements and variations, new riffs and runs. This (often spontaneous) creativity distinguishes Dimash. He rarely sings a song in the same way. It's stunning and overwhelming. He also interacts with the audience in a beautiful, emotional and also funny way. There is a real connection. His mom sat in the front row and supported him (dabbing his sweat). After the concert, Dimash met his dears on the forecourt of the concert hall, sat on a car roof and signed many more autographs. I could be his grandmother but I love this young man and feel privileged to have seen him live. I never wanted it to end. It's burned into my memory forever and I must keep telling about it.   • I was at this concert and it was 3.5+ hours of amazing performance 🤩🥰 Hearing a Dimash IRL is a whole other level. It proves that he needs no studio or computer assistance to sound this brilliant.   • If I'm not mistaken, this “Ave Maria” by composer and conductor Igor Krutoy is a work in vocalize format, completely unpublished, although it seems to be a variation of the initial theme (not the introduction but the singing part) of the melody by Schubert adapted to Dimash's voice in order to explore just as three initial notes and changing the fourth note to a higher note (From B4, A4 D#4 C#4 and B4 to G#4, G4, G4, D#5): Like a leap from "dark to light" which is the same contrast as Dimash's outfit (from dark to light)! It also seems to refer to the Russian V. Vavilov's version of "Ave Maria" (wrongly credited to Caccine) and work by JS Bach - Prelude No. 1 in C major, BWV 846, with arrangements by Gounod, which Maetro Igor Krutoy has a predilection for!

  • Yes. DIMASH does a "deep dive" into his songs. You can see him "go under" like a diver submerging. And re-emerge after the last note is executed. He demonstrates that a performance starts & stops way before & way after the song is finished. Pauses, silence and breaks between phrasing and/or key changes can maximize or minimize the audience's emotional investment IF the artist knows or understands the power he or she has to elicit those reactions. Only a MASTER at their craft can do that.

  • ❤💜 Love Dimash...he's just the best!! Thank you for reacting to this song and sorry about you losing your original reaction. You should watch the version at the Almaty Concert, from Dimash's channel, link provided below from Dimash's KZhead channel. I watched the Almaty Concert version, quite spectacular, a lot of drone footage of the crowd and Dimash and the screen playing in the background. But, recently I watched the live stream from both the Yerevan, Armenia and Antalya, Turkey Concerts held within the past 2 months, and let me tell you, the background screens while Dimash was singing Ave Maria were visually fantastic, at least to me. It showed people walking in the street toward "the light" while beams of light shot out from the sky to the earth. The way the camera work was done, it almost gave the sense of Dimash "flying" above the people toward the light at the beginning of the song, then the sense of him walking with them....really a fantastic visual effect. I can't seem to find footage of that other than the limited views of the fancams...the official versions from the last two concerts have not been released on Dimash's channel,. If you want to watch this performance again, whether you react or not, I've provided links to both versions below.     • But there is no difference: what we hear here is exactly the track from the old Sochi performance. At this concert this was one of his lip-synced songs to rest his voice. There usually are 2-3 non-live songs even at his concerts to get some rest.

Thats why I wrote, to watch the original one, to experience his face, his meditation for singing this Ave Maria in this way , and how he works with his body, is unbelievable and deeply touching - when I watch the Prague one, it is the same music and voice, but I dont feel the same intensity as watching him doing it live... Dimash is a genius, but it IS Not possible even for him to sing ALL extreme! songs live in this perfection..so, it is understandable, he has to do some songs not live, in a concert like this. But he is THE BEST live Singer of the world!
