  • Can I offer an observation about learning anything on the guitar? if you change your tuning to ALL 4ths tuning, EADGCF then you only have to learn 1/3 the number of patterns in chords, scales, modes, triads, extended chords.. 1/3 !!! that means you'll learn 300% faster on all the things you need to learn to master the guitar. I've only found 1 teacher on U2B that advocates this.. Now I'm hooked I'll never go back to campfire tuning : EADGBE no more shifting for those 2 high strings.. Try it.. a Major chord looks the same everywhere on the neck, every inversion the same everywhere on the neck.. every scale, every mode.. same pattern all over the neck.. There's magic in this, if you dare to try it. In 3 years time, I'm playing Fusion Jazz/Rock.

  • How do i know what key? First chord?

    @guyesentals9406@guyesentals940629 күн бұрын
    • That normally works😃

      @LearningGuitarSecrets@LearningGuitarSecrets29 күн бұрын
    • First chord often works. One way to find the key by ear is to pick a note you hear and sing it (or play it on your guitar), then sing down the scale until it feels restful, or stable. That's the key. It takes some practice to do this, but keep at it and you'll get there!
