I eventually had to stop watching it, I began getting scarred for life from some of the things I seen lmao. I'm American but I've never seen anything like this at the Walmarts in my area luckily and I hope I never have to either 😂 Edit: Guys..I went to Walmart today and seen someone on all fours with a damn dinosaur mask on and somebody was walking them with a leash 😭

    • It's definitely a cultural thing. You can tell by their responses to the subway too. Everything is more about how it affects the community/environment/etc. You can even see this in their language (and many Asian languages and cultures) where honorifics are quite familial and quite predominant where as here, we definitely don't use anywhere near as many honorifics. we're notoriously more self serving in the U.S.

  • I sometimes shop at Walmart, I honestly have never seen anyone wear funky colorful clothes or costumes or butt cracks lol.. I guess my Walmart is boring lol.. I only saw this one guy just a few days ago at the checkout line with his wife, he had a face full of tattoos and several earrings on each ear and a small nose ring. He was smiling and having a conversation with the lady at the checkout line when he was buying his merchandise. At first when I saw his face, it shocked me, but then I thought, why do that to yourself, you look like a handsome guy and you have nice smile. I noticed people were staring at him but he just ignored the stares. I looked the other way because I know it’s not polite to stare, I bet he really is a cool guy who just loves tattoos or he got it all done when he was younger. He looked to be in his forties. He has that look of no regrets. If these two kind people do read my comment, not every customer at Walmart dresses like that. I’ve seen a lot of people dressed up like they were in church or going to a party or just want to look nice. It’s very odd that there are people who aren’t ashamed to wear crazy odd looking clothes in Walmart but not at the local grocery store! Lol

Honestly, people dress however they want in my town and nobody will give you a second look. Once I saw a lady wearing nylons as if they were leggings. It's very common to find folks everywhere dressed in costume around Halloween, but generally there are accepted standards of good taste in public clothing even here. But with such expansive freedom as enjoyed in the U.S., often comes license to do almost anything, anywhere. We are used to it, but it can be embarrassing, if not just comical.

I have seen people dress up in costumes but that's Halloween I guess to pick up some liquor or party goods and chips or cake To bring to a party... if you're wondering why I shop at Walmart because I do not have a fridge.. In fact some of the Walmart employees actually help me out and sell some of their goods for cheaper than they should be because I live homeless out of my car.. So instead of paying $7 dollars for an item ,They actually sell it to me for $2 I'm in every day so they got to know me ...any little bit helps.. And if anybody's in charge at Walmart I want you to know that some of your employees are really special.. They all know how much I appreciate it even though I can pay for things in full ,, they just happen to give me discounts,,So I defend Walmart any chance I get The store owners might not be great but the people that work there are..

That would be your Walmart. Now, the People of Walmart would be the people that shop there that are so bizarre in their appearance that you can't believe you've never seen them anywhere else before despite the fact that they apparently live nearby enough to shop at this store, though clearly they don't make enough money to shop anywhere nicer or take better care of themselves.

  • I've never been to Walmart nor have I ever heard it's a haven for people who are either exhibitionists or the mentally ill. In a country of 330 million people, odds are there're gonna be some crazies.

  • These ppl are either off in lala land or trying to get attention by their over reaction to Babbitry ( the character that struggled with the excessive conformity of the 50s). I knew a woman (she was incomprehensible to talk to) that would wear flouncy baby doll PJs, a huge pink boa and stiletto heals every where. She was definitely one of the ones in lala land. I also knew a man that would wear children's dress up toys and stride along be the streets as ninjas or native Americans on a mission. He too was in lala land and wouldn't get help. Last I heard his wife was divorcing him because he was behaving just as irrationally with their finances and was sent home for not being able to function at work. These ppl are just another symptom of the poor mental health in US. Without health insurance they won't be able to get help until they're desperately poor.

  • Well, I think we’ve just been put to shame. The PoW website exists to mock folks who are “out of place” most places, but Walmart prides itself in being so convenient that you can come as you are. These young people have just reminded us that some of the fellow citizens we Americans may laugh at are actually the cool kids on the block in someone else’s eyes!

  • Some of these people are breaking the store rules and laws because animals are not allowed unless it is a licensed therapy animal and no shirt or shoes is a violation the reason is these things are against health codes. But Walmart attracts the worse. What saddens me is these people have no self respect or respect for others.

Can not for the life of me figure out why people would act with such a lack of self respect..I'm left scratching my head everytime I see a Walmart video.
