I watch a lot of videos on gardening, and after watching yours, I'm a fan! I love how you keep em short and right to the point. Well done, Sir. Well done!
So nice of you
Morning Professor where we can buy that panel ?
Pawpaw Ridge, I totally agree with Trish - this is the best video I have ever watched because it is short and to the point, no fluff. Myself and my 13 year old son built this today exactly how you showed. He watched it once and we worked together and completed it in no time. Thank you!!!!
Who else measures like pawpaw ridges lil waist trick 😅🙋♀️
Theres not alot of men like him left unfortunately.
Perfect! Thank you for showing us kids how to do this!!!

Beautiful trellises, well done! Root protection panels is great idea! Love your garden!
Thank you for showing how to strap them down in the back of the pickup! I thought I'd have to rent a trailer!
Thanks so much for this wonderful demo, I’m getting ready to build one!
I designed my cattle panel trellis's with raised beds inside so I can cover the trellis with greenhouse plastic and use it for a greenhouse in the winter months and large cold frame in late winter and early spring.
Great Idea. Next year we are building raised beds on the outside so they do not get walked on but we leave the tunnels open mainly for the look of it!
I'm torn between those two options. I like the look of a tunnel, but we live in a difficult climate.
@@PawPawRidgeHomestead Hi where can I buy plastic clips what is plastic clips called how do I grow vines ? Did you put green vines by hand yourself thanks
Wonderful video very helpful and creative!
Well looks like it would last for ever!! Great job

Thank you for sharing this
I love using cattle panels in the garden! We used five 4ft.×12ft panels and started attaching them about 2ft. Up on the t posts. This gave us more height and we to used metal clips to connect to the to panels together to prevent swaying. Since we used five in panels, my arbor was 20 ft. long and about 8 ft. tall. I planted on the outside and the inside of the arbor & planted green beans. I canned 134 qts. of beans from this arbor aka the green bean garage.😊😊😊
So planting on the inside is not too shady for growing? And did you only plant pole green beans?
@@mariekelly7325 I placed the arbor with openings facing east and west so that they get morning and afternoon sun coming in so apparently not because I got a ton of beans. I also used soil Innoculant which increases the yield.😊
This is very helpful. Thank you Pawpaw Ridge.
Certainly

Wonderful way to do this solo!!
Is the trellis situated ends going north and south?
East West
The thing you asked us to help identify we used to grate or slice potatoes to fry. I suppose you could use it for other veggies. The amber glass set was from late 60's or early 70's. I have that set of pyrex bowls. They were my Momma's and I use them about everyday.
This will be my second year doing my family's garden and our big mistake last year was not installing a trellis. This video was super helpful for us to save money and use materials we already have. Thank you!
Thank you so much

I followed your instructions and made an arch a few days ago. It looks wonderful. I was going to do it by myself but thankfully a guy in the community garden helped me. That panel is awkward and heavy.

PawPaw: You want to drive this down about a foot deep My Clay and Rock Ground: Yeah, buddy ..Nope.
excellent job
Thank you very much!
Good ❤
A section of log with some rocks in front of it also will hold these things in place if you don't have conduit and all this other stuff. In fact about anything will hold them in place. For those of you that don't want to work the dirt and break it up and do all that. Just lay down some weed block inside the tunnel. And use containers. Even if something as small as a one foot by 3 foot plastic window box, will give beans plenty of roots to grow all over that thing. In fact using containers and grow bags for your tomatoes and other vining plants inside of that, is a great way to go. Set up some drip irrigation in a Bluetooth timer and you're there
Pawpaw. I immediately subscribed to your channel. Thank you for sharing the beautiful design. 👍🏽
