Imagine if I had played this game in 2017. I would literally cry. I remember playing doki doki back then when it was just starting to get popular and I was really into visual novels, I never knew something like that was possible and I freaked out when my files changed. I thought I was hacked and told my mom everything, we even reached out to my mom's friend who fixes pcs HAHAHAHA

So what does stabbing him with the knife mean? Surely it can't have the same effect as global deleting him. The poison I could see representing detrimental code such as null pointers and memory overflows, the kinds of stuff that might be harmful for a computer creature to ingest, however what would the knife represent? Raw deleting files? If that's so, then why can't he counter it the way he counters the global delete in the bad delete ending?
@calamity Well when you phrase it like that, a knife doesn't remove someone from existence, it simply damages their inner workings irreversibly. Perhaps the knife represents a corruption of important data? It would make sense that it would damage Tomato, potentially fatally, but it would also mean that he's not completely gone. If the knife and poison was a way to delete his files, then there wouldn't be a need to global delete him via the console. Whoever wrote the text in the useless text file wants you to use the console to delete him. Assuming the person who wrote the text only has the goal of destroying Tomato, then there'd have to be some reason why they say that you have to use the console. I think they wanted to be sure that he'd be dead, whereas with the knife and poison, there would be a chance that Tomato wouldn't die from it.

If you look in the background during any scene without the blender, you can see a note hanging on the fridge - "Sorry". You could think it meant he's sorry for doing all this, but it could be him tricking us. Perhaps he was using that note to make players think he's sorry, making them easier to exploit.

Hey did you spot what looks like binary in that text file he gives you at 10:12? Some of the Only Mine's have 0s and some replace the L with a | - I have no real experience with decoding binary but it definitely looks like hidden binary code to me? Maybe it was spotted and looked into and resulted in nothing, but I wanted to mention it because I can't see anyone talking about it in the comments (and I don't think it was mentioned in the video, just the other decimal code you had to solve)

@@dearrichter Thank you so much for the text! While I still have no experience with this stuff, I plugged this into a couple of different translators and got nothing useful. I tried converting it to morse too with no results. The only thing I can think of is perhaps it's the opposite of what I suspected, where what I assumed was Ls were supposed to represent 1s, rather than the |s? Buuuuut perhaps It means nothing and I've been going slightly mad over nothing XD
