This EP is every ugly emotion I've been too afraid to let out for the better and worse halves of a year since being diagnosed with cancer. I just couldn't do it. Partly due to an excess of numbness from a severe, years long phase of being jaded-I was already an unemployed shut-in who feels like they're being left behind by the world. I didn't think it could get any worse from there-and partly due to knowing it would break my mom and sister's hearts. On my worse days, I hoped something would set me off. I wanted it to happen. I wanted an excuse to lose my shit and scream and cry and break stuff like an animal, even if the event would cause more trouble for my heart with a steak-sized mass sitting on top of it. Deep down, the worst of me festered. Having cancer didn't give me a new look on life. I was still my same selfish, angry, jaded self. I had zero motivation to make anything worth remembering. I wondered if that's how I deserved to go out. Even then, I didn't want to die. I thought, why me? Haven't I suffered enough? Will I go quickly? What's chemo going to do to my body? Will I die slowly in a hospital bed in front of my family, who can't bare to see me like that? For my own peace, and for my family's, I locked these feelings away, and I used that anger to keep me going. For as long as my stubborn heart kept fighting, I fought, too. I wasn't going to die like this. For my family. For the people I hate, whose suffering delighted me, as gross as that is. Long story short, I won the fight. These songs hold a mirror up to my ugliest emotions and I feel understood. This shit rocks. My life still sucks somewhat, but beating cancer has been the greatest success of my life so far. my ears are ringing after listening to this, I like how everything is loud and unfathomably distorted, these tracks are all short yet very fun, the vocals add a layer of texture and rhythm that does so much to highlight how energetic it is, the breaks are bombastic, the cut up chords are sweet, it's all really cool. Overall insane to least to, but it's very attention grabbing. The first and last track probably hit me the most, very good fit for the vocals there. GIRL HELL 1999 is also a sick title, keep up the good work!

There's a couple ppl I can think of at the top of my head- 4lung (like her work from 2016-2018, haven't listened to much of her recent stuff but it's also cool), some aliases from LapFox Trax (namely Kitcaliber, Renard, TQBF, JQ- greenhouse too ig but they're more chill)- as for other new artists, I recc checking out Acidic Fundip's most recent album, and there is another artist that is pretty neat... Lucy 💎? Yea, they have som neat stuff under aliases like Lead and ZU. Out of these, Kitcaliber/TQBF are the most similar. Though still Femtanyl's style is really unique and awesome!!

It's normal, but half way, you are suddenly tasked with typing in "BORROWED :3" CREDIT CARD NUMBERS TO FURNISH THE LOCAL CAT POPULATION WITH FEMTANYL. @@hairystyles4212 i mean it is closer to breakcore than any of the breakcore playlists, since at the very least it understood the assignment (breakbeat+hardcore) but i can definitely hear the difference.. still trying to identify it tho, because it isn't any of the breakcore sub-genres that i know of.. closest i can think of would be splattercore.. but unlike splattercore, this actually sounds good (opinion) i also notice some hyperpop influences, but i don't think it's that either..

@@phantom4E2 it's a banger indeed.. as stated before: unlike the genres it resembles the most, this actually sounds good.. and idk if the creator would respond or even had any genre in mind (most artists just wing it, and have the music speak for itself.. genres are just there to categorize it afterwards) i still think it has splattercore vibes with hyperpop elements, but unless there already exists a name for what this is, it is possible that this is something new entirely..

This EP is every ugly emotion I've been too afraid to let out for the better and worse halves of a year since being diagnosed with cancer. I just couldn't do it. Partly due to an excess of numbness from a severe, years long phase of being jaded-I was already an unemployed shut-in who feels like they're being left behind by the world. I didn't think it could get any worse from there-and partly due to knowing it would break my mom and sister's hearts. On my worse days, I hoped something would set me off. I wanted it to happen. I wanted an excuse to lose my shit and scream and cry and break stuff like an animal, even if the event would cause more trouble for my heart with a steak-sized mass sitting on top of it. Deep down, the worst of me festered. Having cancer didn't give me a new look on life. I was still my same selfish, angry, jaded self. I had zero motivation to make anything worth remembering. I wondered if that's how I deserved to go out. Even then, I didn't want to die. I thought, why me? Haven't I suffered enough? Will I go quickly? What's chemo going to do to my body? Will I die slowly in a hospital bed in front of my family, who can't bare to see me like that? For my own peace, and for my family's, I locked these feelings away, and I used that anger to keep me going. For as long as my stubborn heart kept fighting, I fought, too. I wasn't going to die like this. For my family. For the people I hate, whose suffering delighted me, as gross as that is. Long story short, I won the fight. These songs hold a mirror up to my ugliest emotions and I feel understood. This shit rocks. My life still sucks somewhat, but beating cancer has been the greatest success of my life so far. im not sure the aesthetics qualify as frutiger aero, its something else entirely as far as my understanding of frutiger aero goes
my ears are ringing after listening to this, I like how everything is loud and unfathomably distorted, these tracks are all short yet very fun, the vocals add a layer of texture and rhythm that does so much to highlight how energetic it is, the breaks are bombastic, the cut up chords are sweet, it's all really cool. Overall insane to least to, but it's very attention grabbing. The first and last track probably hit me the most, very good fit for the vocals there. GIRL HELL 1999 is also a sick title, keep up the good work!

Lucy 💎? Yea, they have som neat stuff under aliases like Lead and ZU. Out of these, Kitcaliber/TQBF are the most similar. Though still Femtanyl's style is really unique and awesome!!

It's normal, but half way, you are suddenly tasked with typing in "BORROWED :3" CREDIT CARD NUMBERS TO FURNISH THE LOCAL CAT POPULATION WITH FEMTANYL. The section is timed and the police are on ur tail. If u go fast enough you get the bonus stage of S33K H3LP.

@@hairystyles4212 i mean it is closer to breakcore than any of the breakcore playlists, since at the very least it understood the assignment (breakbeat+hardcore) but i can definitely hear the difference.. still trying to identify it tho, because it isn't any of the breakcore sub-genres that i know of.. closest i can think of would be splattercore.. but unlike splattercore, this actually sounds good (opinion) i also notice some hyperpop influences, but i don't think it's that either..

@@phantom4E2 it's a banger indeed.. as stated before: unlike the genres it resembles the most, this actually sounds good.. and idk if the creator would respond or even had any genre in mind (most artists just wing it, and have the music speak for itself.. genres are just there to categorize it afterwards) i still think it has splattercore vibes with hyperpop elements, but unless there already exists a name for what this is, it is possible that this is something new entirely..
