  • Haters are annoying. Her voice is not jawdropping, but she doesn’t sing bad either. She has a regular range. Are people not allowed to be singers unless they sang powerfully? Also the “but there’s so many talented people out there and she’s undeserving” I’ve heard so many times is stupid. Is it her responsibility if other people get the recognition they deserve?   • So In terms of relatability, I think it’s safe to say “Happiness ain’t something you sit back and you wait for, confidence is throwing your heart through every brick wall... vulnerable ain’t easy believe me but I go there.” are my fave lyrics. I have always loved music but there was never rlly a time where I could sit and listen to something without it making me feel even worse. Then there was RARE. It’s funny because Sel has been through so many hardships in these four years and you would expect her to sing about exactly that. But she didn’t because of this sense of new love she is deciding to have for herself and the love she has always had for people . She is singing the truth but in a way that uplifts and motivates people by telling them self-love is the only way forward. And that’s what I’m grateful for because this is what I’ve been longing for ever since I even entered this stage in my life where vulnerability can be a scary thing. I love you @selenagomez and I’m proud of you for re-finding yourself, this album genuinely means THAT world fo me ❤️
