Minecraft Kennywood Noah’s Ark Showcase! Ever since it first set sail in 1936, Kennywood’s Noah’s Ark has been thrilling guests of all ages. Over the years the Ark has seen many renovations like when the famous whale mouth entrance was added in 1969. This version lasted until 1995 when it was replaced by the darker version with the Elevator of doom. In 2016 the whale along with a more family friendly Ark was brought back. I decided to build the 1969 version of how it would have looked in the 80s. All the scenes are accurate to what they were down to every left and right you took. Enjoy!

One of your videos helped me make one of the stunts, the rowboat guy and the shark. It was the video where you were at the Heinz history center for kennywood day and they showed exclusive footage from kennnywood memories including the shark scene in Noah’s ark. It was the only footage I could find of it so it helped me make it accurate, so thanks!

Yes you are right, the ark did close before the 1995 season ended because it literally cracked in half because it was over loaded and was rotting. Construction started at the end of the 1995 season and continued into 1996. I said 1995 because that is when the renovation started, but it did open to the public in 1996. I did say 1994 in the description for some reason, thanks for the correction.

@@Fan2KFCI have seen that Darkride documentary, it was very well done. I remember riding the 1996 version when I was younger, I did not like the elevator much but I was young and I think if I rode it when I was older I would have enjoyed it more.
