Pitbull was too strong in the clinch and could read Juan coming in so well and counter with accurate and amazing power, he was so calm and patient. Was frustrating seeing Juan, being a fan of Juan; as he struggled to come inside pitbulls reach even with his tricky footwork, great fight.

Apparently he cant figure out his range. Stayed either too far outside, or wound up too far inside. You can tell that hes doing the movements he was taught, but doesnt understand the science behind it, IMO. Its almost like hes just doing the movements on repeat without any thought behind it. Winds up being a bunch of wasted energy punching and kicking the air while duder just waits for him to finally come in far enough.

You can really tell Juan is trying to be like TJ Dillashaw, but he just doesn't have the ring IQ yet to make all those techniques work in the practical application. Hes doing Ludwigs movements and techniques, just with no thought to their application, and he wasted a ton of time and energy with zero return while his opponent just waited for him.
