I Built an Off Grid Solar TINY HOUSE in a Van in 2 Months | Van Build Start to Finish :
In this video, I take you through my entire build process for this 2001 ford e250 cargo van that I converted into a mobile stealth tiny home start to finish in only two months. I built this van to be able to work off grid with solar panels and to appear to be a regular cargo van on the outside so that the user of this van could potentially park it anywhere without being noticed as someone living or camping inside of the vehicle. A lot of work and innovative ideas went into this build, so I really hope you enjoy seeing this mobile off grid tiny home come together inside of its cargo van shell. Make sure to subscribe to see me build a 34 foot travel trailer next! As always, thanks for watching and I'll see you in the next one. Later!

    • @@xzyz8602 john... that's why he's selling it for only $8500. as someone currently trying to build one out for myself I can say it's taking me quite a bit more than two months and costing me quite a bit more than $8500, it's really interesting to see the process. I look at it as - it's a 2001 with 250k miles on it and for a relatively modest amount of materials and labor he's turned it into a functional and comfortable van. for me the clever way he integrated a chair is worth way more than the labor required to plug screw and nail holes, which I won't bother with either. Also, a blackwater system seems a lot of work that can be avoided since most of the day we may be around restrooms, so a porta-potty may be just as good and much less complicated. etc. the way he insulated and a single fan also seem par for the course with a lot of the van builds I've seen, but since those aren't purely cosmetic I'd be curious to hear your objections.

  • DUDE. I've always said that one of the things I wanna do is to buy a buncha busses, dig at least 10-12ft. down in the ground of our property, and set them up like my own little hidden "tunnel home". I read somewhere that if we were to have some sort of chemical warfare situation, that you'd have to be at least 10-12ft deep underground to keep from the effects of it....but even if that never happened, it'd still be cool to have your own little underground abode, big enough for my entire family. You are amazing at what you do, and I'm so impressed that at your young age, you're so well versed in this kinda stuff! Ya just got a new subscriber!!

  • You are not asking enough for your van, it’s beautiful. With your skills you should invest in a van with low miles then work your magic on it. Spend $10k on something with low miles, put $5k in materials into it the sell that baby for $25k. Your skills are worth it, you deserve a good pay check after all those hours you put in. It’s crazy what other vans built like yours are going for these days.

  • WOW! I just found you and your build video, so I know zero about you, your background etc., but your creativity and skills are both OUTSTANDING. I could suggest that you start a custom conversion company, but I have no doubt that the way you would both perceive another person's space, and envision what could be done within it would far surpass anything they would want themselves. You are indeed an EXTREMELY talented young man. Cannot wait for your next build in the 34 footer!

I never saw myself living in a small vehicle, but seeing everything you make from scratch, WOW!!! That's all I can say. By the way I'm a disabled senior I know it's a tall order, but would you consider making something like this for someone who is mobile challenged? If so, I would love to see it and maybe if I can afford it we will do business. : )
