Right!?!?! A pilot would have blacked out and crashed within the first 3 min. Crazy performance.

Except, that pilots couldn’t survive these maneuvers. The age of human piloted planes is almost over… Hat off to the ground pilot. Extremely skilled‼️ And also to the camera man‼️ Great video!!!!!

This pilot has truly magnificent flying skills and also has just as an impressive model airplane. I have been flying model aircraft for years and have seen great piloting skills but this is truly next level and absolutely awesome to witness. Congratulations on a fantastic display of airmanship👏

It was absolutely amazing show, literally from take-off to landing. Camera guy also did his best in such a difficult conditions.

@@Ghent_Halcyon the aircraft shown has tandem-seat cockpit and has movable vectored thrust exhaust. The Su-30MKI/MKM and Su-30SM are tandem-seat versions with vectored thrust nozzles but has canards. It couldn't be an Su-35 because the Su-35 is a single seater. So what version could it be only the builder has the answer. 🤔
Pretty sure the SU-30 has a longer tail and canards. Both of which are missing. Almost a 100% sure it’s a MIG-29.

Of all the RC flying I have ever done or witnessed, I've never been this impressed. This includes all propulsion types, platforms, and styles... 3D Helis, gas/glow plane pattern flying, etc. If there was no onboard gyro assistance (of any kind), this goes from insane to borderline impossible! Hats off to the pilot and his team.

No it couldn't be scaled up. A full sized version would not have the same power to weight ratio and structural integrity, it would not be able to achieve this level of manoeuvrability and attempting these manoeuvres would literally tear it apart.
@@Shattered65I'm no aero engineer, but I believe may be possible, but it wouldn't be pursued as 1. It's not the age of dogfights 2. With scaling in mind, this plane is probably very slow compared to the other already available planes. So while it may perform impressive manoeuvres, it wouldn't be useful
Apparently... yourself, nor none of the commenter's on here, have ever watched the SU-30 at some of the eastern European / Slavic and French Air Shows.... as well as the Su-57. Many of (but, not all) the "impossible" maneuvers done with this RC SU-30... have actually been done with the Real "Birds".... maybe not quite as "quickly or snappy" (due to the extreme lightness & power to weight ratio of this RC) as witnessed here, but the Russian Jets are quite capable of doing many of these "impossible" maneuvers, as witnessed by thousands at various Air Shows.

On many levels this is more crazy maneuverable than the real plane! Didn't expect to see this level of maneuvers. Pilot and plane made this look easy. I would be curious how digital and now ,any controlled servo surfaces the pilot has control of. Or if this is mostly made possible by all the rear trust vector control over those twin engines. Been to many airshows and this must have been crazy to see. Thanks!
I would think that he has the typical 4 channels for control but his thrust nozzles are using mixing with the ailerons and elevators. Probably running a 7-9 channel system. What ever it is, it 1 hell of a setup, for sure.
Rc aircraft in general are alottt more maneuverable than the real thing because there's many many factors you don't have to worry about
@@robmadewell8549 Like teeny tiny people sitting inside that you have to keep safe. Hugely impressive feat though for building, flying and how the camera man had the shot bang centered for the flight. A true work of art building and flying this thing.
The piloting skills on this video are next level, got to be the best RC piloting on KZhead, well done to Ralph Losemann and the cameraman for an amazing show of skill.

The real SU30 is an amazing aircraft, but the pilots have complex software helping them to perform. This guy is doing it manually! What amazing skill.
He also doesn't have to contend with the G forces. He is definitely 1 hell of an RC plane pilot. Top notch!

@albertol1529 you can equip them with gyros to help you learn. If you lose control just release the sticks and it levels right back out by itself. It's how I learned to fly planes. It'll save you a fortune, lol.
@@SubZ3ro907 wow, how things have come on….I’ve got a Mavic Air 2, which I’ve had a couple of years now. I’ve only flown it 9 times due to being busy and forgetfulness! I should have guessed the gyroscopic tech would find its way onto R/C planes. Thanks for kicking my brain up its arse!
@albertol1529 lol, no problem. Get out there and enjoy some airplane fun! The Setups aren't very expensive and can be equipped to any models. Hell they have them on RC cars now too. It works like a steering assist. Just punch the throttle and the gyros hold the cars on a straight line, no matter how far the rear end kicks out.
No human could survive in a plane capable of that maneuverability !!!

This has to be one of the top 5 Rc Jets in the world, Not only is this a stunningly well finished model, It’s also trimmed to perfection and flown by one of the best Rc pilots around.👏👏👏👏👍

My thoughts whilst watching it the first time. Whilst thinking the flying was impressive, it also hit me as to how spot on the camera work was through the flight. It really showed the very best of what this great machine can do. I'd love to be able to build and fly these.

Wow, amazing. Plane, Piloting, Cameraman. I thought that I have seen everything after Quadmovr videos but this is again something insane. Just wondering if there is some control augmentation or there is direct control law used.

There are geniuses everywhere, each in his or her own field. I have a big respect for these flying and building skills and for the engineers who came up with the thrust vector concept.

It was great!!! Even at takeoff, I thought that this model was piloted by a professional, because it is very easy to break it, because the model is fast and nimble and you can easily accidentally miss the moment and lose control of the model. Just a pro flying the plane. Yes, and the model itself, multi-position deflectable nozzles of a variable thrust vector are implemented, the guys themselves came up with and created this mechanism. Bravo!!! Well, about the flight and I have nothing to say, just no words. Beauty and grace! It would be nice to make the F-22 with two-position deflectable nozzles of a variable thrust vector. And compare the maneuverability of these models.
Awesome! Good thing the Wright Bros back in their day couldn't travel into the future to see that. They would have went home and used their plane for fire wood. 😂 Of course they would have been only more inspired to set the ground work for such a future.

Never did even imagine a thrust vectoring twin jet fighter plane, performing pattern plane moves they can't dream of.....holy shit. Ya know, there's lots of great planes out there, but once in a while, you find one in the hands of an absolute freak on the sticks. Whomever this is, didn't learn to fly yesterday. I flew RC back in the 70's. I had to build my planes from kits. So I look at a plane like this and I'm just blown away. "Wow", is all I can think of to say.
