Entertaining as always and I don't even collect cards! Maybe for the next show have a seperate camera that you can show off the cards you're selling/trading so you dint have to fiddle with the autofocus.

This dude is like the exact opposite experience I ever had at these types of shops and shows years ago at my local mall. If it was like that around here back then I probably wouldn't have taken a 20 year break from collecting.
That trade was a good one, you didn’t even get to keep the latios for very long and it sold. The god rare goku is one I’m trying to pull but I may have to just buy it after 2 cases opened. It’s just an extremely hard card to pull, I think it’s much rarer than the cards you traded for but you made a nice profit off the trade pretty fast, which is always nice.

85% is such a good deal. considering you dont have to do with ebay fees and shipping. most other vendors like bulbastore are 70% cash and 75% credit

That goku - umbreon / latios trade was a massive win in my book, much higher potential on those 2 imo, than on the goku

To save space on my display if I top load them I can only put half of what I normally do. If folks ask for top loaders I usually give them some

Tbh idk if I agree with this kinda negotiating for the goku but almost forcing the dude to trade his umbreon just didnt sit right with me.
Didn’t force anything. I told him what I’m willing to trade for. He’s a grown man and made his own choice. Walked away with the card he wanted + $680 cash. He could buy an umbreon anytime. That Goku card is a lot harder to come by.

Quick tip.... wear black shirts and when you point the cards to the camera, point it so the card is in front of your black shirts, and you will have good focus
When did trade values become in favor to resellers? I thought trade for trade equal value, no one loses! And then it’s up to the reseller to sell for more smh
