  • Amazing how from the grave Bobby Hatfield can melt hearts, the Righteous Brothers as well, and totally impress people who weren't even born when the Righteous Brothers were a hot act in their heyday. Says a lot about them, and today's computer generated music. A computer cannot alter these voices, this talent, and improve it, because it is perfection to begin with.

  • Welcome to the University of Old school, USA. Where you were taught the respect and appreciation of the heart and soul. Weather it was Black or White. 60' and 70's music incapsulated the true identity of romance, and the dreams of everlasting love. Where true love can make you feel so good or hurt you so bad. But the most important part was that the 60's music had an influence on you like no other era in time. Where house parties in the basement with the red light on in the corner. Slow dancing with your girlfriend or someone you just met.... Listening to Smoky Robinson and the Miracles or Billy Stewart or Marvin Gaye and Tammy Terrel or Mary Wells, and not having a care in the world..... unforgettable. I'm glad you appreciate our music; you should have seen them in concert......WOW

  • I was a teenager during the 1960's and add in the 1970's and we had a plethora of great music. Great music that didn't even make the charts. I find it hard to believe there are so many people who have never heard great tracks, like everything the Righteous Brothers did. My youngest daughter's favourite all time track is "Stand By Me" by Ben E King. I think she fell in love with his voice by listening to some Drifters tracks. You should listen to their "Under The Boardwalk."

You just listened to pure talent. No auto tune or other electronic BS. This was when people just picked up the mic and sang the song. Singers today with out auto tune couldn't carry, their luggage to a taxi cab.
