  • As someone who’s been using Ohuhus for a long time, the caps almost never match the color, so swatch sheets are necessary. I always organize them by number so the color I want is easiest to find. However, every artist is different, and your process is your process ❤

    • It seems to be common with a lot of markers. I have some spectrum noir and some off-brand ones from B&M, and none of them match the lids!

    • One solution is to tape the swatch to the marker itself too so you can quick glance at the marker instead of looking for the swatch paper i always inevitable lose

  • I had the same problem when I bought the Ohuhu markers 😅 If you have some card stock, you can put that between to help prevent mixing and moving

  • Another problem is that the marker package color is no where near the actual color. Make sure you test them and do the swatch before you try them out.

  • I find myself coming back to this video after i (to my great surprise and immense happiness) recieved this exact set of markers for christmas this year, and now sit here completing this exact same process... for hours... and struggling😅 but im so close to finished and its so worth it because it looks so PRETTY and correct now!! 🥰🥰 can't wait to start making art with these, watching your videos has made me so much more comfortable delving into other mediums and mixing media. (i also received some himi gouache and prismacolor pencils this year, can't wait to get creative!!) from one autistic artist to another, you inspire me greatly. happy holidays sir ❤

  • I would totally watch a recording of that at bedtime. I couldn't handle the chaos for the smaller sets and bought organizers on Amazon. I think I have around 120ish Ohuhu but I also have a good 50 or so Copics, a Blick set, a bunch from Hobby Lobby & Michael's, a couple Prismacolor... I think I returned all the Spectrum Noir I bought. I'm sure I have the better part of 300 total alcohol markers in a few cases. Can't wait to get my art stuff back out of storage ASAP! I got one of the Ohuhu marker pads too and haven't gotten to use it yet.

  • I got some markers yesterday (a 120 set from Sanjoki) and they came all mixed up. I hated that. I spent like an hour reorganizing by number and testing them out on the swatch paper. It hurts to see them mixed up like this:( it makes me so happy to see them organized, and you feel strangely accomplished when you’re all done.
