    • In my final year of law school, I stressed myself out so much that I had ulcers and intestinal swelling. I was going to power through, but I was throwing up every couple of minutes and I couldn't write one of my exams. The doctor checked me out, literally gasped at my blood pressure, and put me on bed rest for 2 weeks. And this was a totally normal occurrence in my class. Ulcers and hair falling out, people losing weight during exam time, people crying outside the library, etc. Looking back, that can't be normal.

    • @Tina Yael Severinovna M. I'm almost done with my undergrad in business and we have the same rules. Additionally, they kick you out when you take more than 3 semesters longer than the course is intended, even tho you need to wait an entire semester to retake an exam. It's madness.

  • I want to go to law school and become a special education lawyer because I have so many disorders that cause me to miss school a lot and I’ve had so many times that I’ve had full on mental break downs because of school and I don’t want kids to go through what I am currently going through. It is so emotionally and physically draining enough to be so far behind when I am in a flare up, much less when we have to go to iep meetings with people that make me more anxious

    • Depends on the professor I guess. I'm in law school too and I did fall asleep in a class. But most prof adhere to the Socratic method of teaching so law students are always on their toes in case they are called to recite.

    • I was just thinking I may be the only one here. In my country it is totally normal to fail at least one exam during law school. At most exams over 50% fail it. And there are some super difficult exams where the failing rate is constantly between 80 and 95%.
