  • Amazing, I did prefer the first one though, pity about the defects but so cool that you show us the fails! Could you maybe have darkened the resin and added some cosmic dust for a more ‘space’ look and depth?

    • @@EliYourG Use the right type of resin. Depending on the layer thickness. Fast curing types get too hot in a thick layer and bubbles will form. Also porous materials need to be treated beforehand.

  • Very nice! The one with the bubbly resin (left at the end) actually looks incredibly / most realistic with the light/explosion effect. The orange impact explosion looks better/finer than the other two with the cooler light and thicker fiberglass tubes. Don´t you think?

  • Wonderfull result. In the dark the preceeding 'failures' don't look to bad either!. Das clay is not a polymer as far as I know but paperfibre based.

  • The first two renditions were on point, the detail, the patience, the determination. Definitely a lot of hard work went into those without giving up. With that being said, the third one blew them both away :). In my opinion, I believe the final result would be more realistic, if a meteor were to ever hit earth. So, you made the third one your "third times a charm" masterpiece.
