#6 - The Salvador Dali museum is a great day trip from Barcelona for art lovers.
I’m looking to go to Barcelona in the fall and the Dali museum is on my bucket list to see. Can you recommend any tour companies that does the Dali museum?
@@lushvalley we went without a tour company - if you can find one, I’d recommend it. It’s a little tricky organizing the trip. If you can’t find one, start by researching transportation first. We went by train. Find the times for departure and arrival (and when your return trip will be if you do it in one day.) Then visit the museum website and get your tickets. Admission is timed, so you’ll want to coordinate your museum ticket time with your train schedule. The town is very small and otherwise uninteresting so I wouldn’t recommend an overnight stay. No matter, the museum is absolutely amazing.
Collioure France is special...
We are headed to Barcelona next week and booked a day trip to Montserrat. Then we we travel to Andorra for a couple of days before heading home.
Went to Andorra last year from Barcelona it is stunning. The only thing to watch out for is the border control, very intense and serious individuals. 😂
Loved Terragona! Would recommend!
1. Taking a gondola ride in Venice and shared the cost equally among your friends/family 2. Santorini especially Oia, you should come during winter months. Lesser tourists with little bit cheaper during these months. 3. Went to Acropolis during Jan 2024 where at that time was cold and stormy in the last admission hour. Little tourists until I was left the only tourist taking pictures in the strong winds. 4. Eifel tower in Paris, I just took a selfie from a not close distance but still worth taking the photo. Another tourist trap is the little statue of the Little Mermaid in Copenhagen. Since it was challenging taking photos especially solo traveller I went twice just to take the best angle shot and it was totally worth it 😂. Just avoid the people and take swift action when there was no people around in the winter.
Been to Girona and Tarragona by train from BCN. The daytrip to france sounds like a good idea for next time
Me and my friends absolutely loved Monserrat way more than anticipated. The views were incredible. 🤩The market was fun too. We wished we did the all day tour instead
OMG!!! I love Barcelona!!! I love Girona!!! I will go back!! I’ve been to Barcelona 2 times and Girona once!! But I’m absolutely in love with that country. Both are so amazing. I wanted to make it to Sitges but it rained all day that day. I’m for sure going back now that I’ve seen this video!!!!!! It’s so amazing.
Mark I did the day trip to Andorra last year, the place was stunning. Took trail up the mountain and look down on Andorra absolutely amazing.
Barcelona was one of my favorite places to visit!!
Nice one Mark, some great day trips you presented there, beautiful 👍🏽
Cadaques & Collioure are also a not to be missed if traveling around
Collioure is grand
As a bit of a world traveler myself ahem... i would also recommend Besalu. Beautiful historic town with a bridge at the entrance. Great place to escape the crowds.
We're taking a day trip to Girona and the Dali Museum. So excited!
Pretty places you picked out!😊❤
Looks amazing trip..😊
This was the perfect video for me, we are going to Barcelona in June. We have 4 extra nights and I'm debating staying in the Costa Brava area and Girona for the 4 days or splitting the time up and driving to Valencia as well seeing the sights mentioned.
Doing this in November 2024❤
❤❤❤❤
Fantastic video mark! Would love to see more Japan content since lots more tourists are going because of the weak yen
Thank you. Watch while sipping Barefoot Red Wine.
No Valencia? Too far or didn’t make the cut? Haha Another great video
Per🐷nan

Spain is so lovely!
Have you made a video of andorra?

Puigcerda.
Hee-Rona? Cmon man. It’s Zhi-Rona in Catalan. I’ve never heard anyone Hee-Rona unless they’re trying really hard to be unpleasant to Catalans.
