    • I'm not even a Froome fan, but you simply are a disgrace. You can assume certain things, but you cannot just say that he is a doper without having any proof. Also, calling his performances pathetic is just silly to me: first of all he probably still performs 100 times better than you do, and secondly, are we gonna call Sagan pathetic because he doesn't win anymore despite still believing in his chances? No, not at all, because he is still an icon of the sport who dominated cycling at some point in his career. For that, he deserves respect. Same goes for froome. If he were to be caught doping with evidence, he would indeed be pathetic, but this is simply not the case at the moment.

  • The SKY train of ten years ago was something to behold. The climbers, sprinters, rouleurs, super domestiques, former track cyclists all in formation literally time trialing up mountain stages, eating alive all of their top level contemporaries in their day. Reminiscent of another formation from a bygone team known as U.S Postal. Those of us who have been longtime fans are too old to be fooled anymore. The UCI might as well be a more snobbish WWE because they are making some great fictional entertainment for the masses. There is definitely a club, and you're not in it mentality and favors and golden parachutes are on offer if you're a special kind of bootlicker. All that being said, Froome was a decent man on the bike and a gentleman to his opponents. Suspicions and generous TUEs aside, he never bullied his teammates or anyone in the peloton. The problem is when someone like Froome can continue to race the world tour while someone like Quintana is seen as a relic of the "before" days of credible cycling. That's laughable in a sad, ironic sort of way.

    • @@silverarrowslk Correct, absolutely. Cheating has existed in cycling since the first Tour De France in 1904. Back then it was racers jumping on trains and hiding nails in their bar end plugs. Today it's more sophisticated. Just because it's invisible to the naked eye, doesn't mean it isn't happening. Makes for some great content, yet I can't keep getting invested in picking favorites and spending hours of my time following races because prolific cheaters get caught eventually. That doesn't mean that I believe everyone in pro cycling is cheating, I'd never let my nihilism get to that point. There's plenty of riders who ride it clean and have all of the right attributes to be at the top of the sport. They will never win again, but they are there. Nairo was one of those types of riders. Still in his prime, he's being outmatched not in his physical ability but through a lab microscope. And yet, since it can't be proven they have no problem going after him for some painkillers for his back.

  • I've been lucky enough to race and train with a number of successful African riders and Froome was head and shoulders above all of them/us. I remember him bringing me to my knees on a mountain pass in Mpumalanga, South Africa in 2006. Froome was always quiet, respectful but incredibly hard working, often heading out for rides after we'd all done 6 hours! Calling him pathetic after his career is harsh. His crash in 2019 could have killed him. I spoke to a medical professional that was close to the incident and his take was that the nerve damage, let alone the muscular loss, would prevent him ever getting back to his best level.

Froome doped, and I'm not sure that WVA, Pogacar, and Remco don't dope as well. Any time I see athletes do super human things against the best in their sport, it makes me wonder. The solution? Let them all dope. Football, basketball, baseball, cycling, all sports. Provide no insurance, and let them all have at it. It would save millions upon millions of dollars in testing and we'd see some really amazing things.

  • The saddest part about these dopers is they are already using bikes that most people will not be able to use or afford in their life times. Most avid cyclists will never be fully able to see their max potential due to the cost of the bikes so they tend to buy consumer grade road bikes. We are not even talking about the $15,000 Road bikes or the even more expensive $18,000 TT bikes. The problem is UCI itself who protect these dopers, UCI should of already changed the bike weight rules to 10kg not this 6.8 kg kids nonsense. Moving the bike weights up would eliminate weaker riders who are only getting into cycling due to the lower weights of bikes, this is why they cant race or even like anything over 7kg as they start complaining about the weight. I am starting to see a money race to having the latest bike tech by people so weak in their legs that they would not last 10 km riding a 10 kg bike. Starting to see this every weekend on longer rides, literally 15 year kids with $8,000 TT bikes who can't keep up with a $400 9 kg bike.

  • This news just came out: Froomie is leaving Israel Cycling at the end of the 2023 season - his still-running contract was bought out by UAE for $8 million and they offered him a 5 year contract for $6 million/year, because he told them that he is confident that he can win the Tour in 2024 and that he is still good enough to win at least another 3 Tours. Pogi will now be his super domestique as the past 2 years have shown that he is probably too old now to win yet another Tour after his victories in 2020 and 2021.

Just that like most top rank pro sprinters he's not quite as good as the pure climbers. Also Froome is South African, he may have been born in Kenya but by choice he was educated from an early age in South Africa, turned pro in South Africa, joined South African teams and married a South African. The fact that he cycles under a British licence is pure convenience.

No one can know for sure if the whole peleton is clean, but everything points to a way way cleaner sport, probably the cleanest sport out there. Cycling has by far the most and the best testing in any sport. It is straight up not possible to dope with EPo like they did in 90's you cant do like armstrong in the 00's today. Blood transfusion will spike your blood passport and put you under suspicion - meaning you will get targeted wit a lot of tests making it impossible to continue doping. There are ways to get around for some time but chances are you will get caught eventually. And they just cant do it enough to really matter hence we dont see times like in the 90's

  • 😄😄...love this channel, but to be fair to the Doped Froome....they ALL dope. Ethics, Integrity, etc will not get you too far in this Pro Sport ( or any Pro Sport ) these days. It's all about Performance and SocialMedia, which leads to fantastic earnings via Titles, Mega-sponsors and Insta-Million contracts......MAMMON runs Pro Sports. Froome plays his act well, and that $16m Israel contract, makes for Mr Savvy. ( and he kept his 4 TDF titles, which he can sail on forever, across the Seven Seas of UCI.) Excellent Grift.

  • Great video, I think Froome has stiff opposition of being the biggest fraud in sport with Linford. These people put a persona on that, they never could be guilty, but it's an act. Froome fans, I don't know what they see, taking all that money for what, he's won as much as we all have, in the last 4-5 yrs.
