I like Daniel Preda. He has no filter and isn't scared to give his opinion. I liked him on the Fools Coverage Podcast.
I don't feel the insult matters as much as the fact that an insult was issued in the first place. Like, he didn't need to say anything negative about him at all. He could have just said, I used to feel jealous of him and now I'm more secure in who I am and I don't feel that way anymore. Jealousy says more about the owner of that feeling than anyone else, imho. We've all been there.
I don't really know these creators but Connor responded like they have a history and this was the last straw.
The reason why people were going in on him so much is because a lot of people don’t like Daniel and they haven’t for years it’s just now being more publicized

It has nothing to do with the comment in particular, but the fact that it was unwarranted. Daniel had no reason to say that other than to be a hater.
this man has been a mean girl to connor for years and he was simply fed up. it’s not just ‘someone calling him boring’ it was a former peer that still finds opportunities to jab at him for no reason. people are allowed to have a final straw. and you not providing the context of his multiple years worth of shadiness leads to a half baked opinion on a person who has been patient for years. also perpetuates the nasty mindset that a victim of bullying is always ‘overreacting’ once they finally respond to the jabs

Watch Dustin Dailey's video on this. Apparently, he's just been a shady bitch to Connor for years for no good reason. I think Connor was feeding a little bit to the drama and sticking up for himself too. But overall, I believe him about Daniel not crossing his mind ever. He's a good guy living his best "boring" life.
