@mattwilkins1597Ай бұрын
Epoxy?!! Why not cement? 😂 Lots of great suggestions from the gallery. Seriously, though, that was a very sharp rock. Do dairy farmers have to rake the area of the barn floor for rocks, or is it just a routine hazard that cows can pick up rocks? I assume that it's not as much of a problem in the pasture because the rock is more likely to sink into the soft ground than into the cow's hoof. Ouchie, though. Poor cow. I hope she heals well so the corkscrew can be fixed in future trimmings. Good video, Nate, as usual.

Not the armchair experts harrassing Nate!
Ouch, that was sharp! Thank you Nate. Best wishes from Oswestry, Shropshire
Sweet girl. She just has to learn you are amazing and not there to hurt her
You're so gentle with all the girls❤❤❤
It's the heart for me! The cow showing some love ❤
Oh, the poor girl! She must be feeling loads better now :)
Great job Nate as usual 👩🏻🏫👵🏻👏🏻🥰‼️
This is very satisfying to watch. The work is much like that of a dentist's, who also removes extra material around the edges of a cavity and makes sure there's no more room for infection in a tooth.
Kindest regards from Canada 🇨🇦🇨🇦
I can only imagine that a stone that size with such a sharp point is like when we step on the prongs on sockets. The noise of pain I let out when you pulled it out! Bet she's feeling miles better after that.
Great job! Great teaching lesson.
Excellent work as always, my dude!
I have never been more fascinated by something I have never been fascinated with. 😆
Nice job Nate I enjoy all of your content keep up the good work!!!!
I'm curious do you ever work on other animals with hooves or do you specialize in cows? I'm from the city but I find it so fascinating seeing you helping these cows and learning so much about what goes on under their hoof. You got me thinking about sheep, horses, goats....and even bulls....lol do you ever have to work on bull hooves? Thank you for this channel!
Thank you Nate
3:43 Someone is curious.
There's a lil heart in her hoof 🥺
Thank you, Nate
Why is this awkwardly relaxing
You’re awesome!!!! I’ve never seen this before . That must be so uncomfortable for the cow. You’re really really awesome and well done on double and triple checking it . Not that I know anything about this, but it makes sense !!!😊
Just got off of work and Nate uploaded. Solid day :)
I’d love to see an update on this one as you removed so much. Just to see how the hoof grows back in. Thank you!
Are your hands sore after a day of trimming hooves? I imagine the pressure needed to trim these would give you carpal tunnel over the years.
Nicely done!❤
Watching this I get Dentist anxiety hearing the drilling 😢😅😂
Hoof Allahumma sholli wa sallim wa baarikh ala Sayyidina Muhammadin wa'ala ali Sayyidina Muhammadin fil awwalin wal aakhirin wa fil mala'il a'laa ilaa Yaumiddin
Just thinking about a rock that size in my shoe makes me wince. I’m glad you got it out.
Well that stone gave me some phantom twinges! Yaugh! Gotta be like getting something jammed deep under a finger or toenail! 😖
When you’re peeling a bruise off a potato but it never ends 😂
Amazing! Well done!
aw the hole where the big rock was is heart shaped ❤
Great job, would a wire brush help to get the debris off?
I love when he piles on that salicylic acid.
Greetings from Germany 🇩🇪 !
Mr. Nate do you sit down or stand to do these trims?
Glad you figured out the puzzle. To what degree did your corkscrew claw correction get undone to repair the stone damage?
I was always so scared when my mum cut my nailes as a kid but seeing this cows hoof being cut by a saw😅
I just find this so fascinating, in my next life, this is what I want to do. In preparation, how did you learn to do this? Thank you for your loving care for these animals❤
Other hoof videos keep popping up on my feed, but I can't get interested enough to watch them. I only like Nates.
Barn cat said "I'M OUT!"
Background kitty in this video was a nice easter egg 🐈
I'm surprised there isn't a tool that solely removes rocks to avoid damaging your knives.
3:41 a happy farm kitty!
Two seconds before you said something about filling it with epoxy I had that exact question
Good job👍
Peeling the forbidden potato
Have you ever had injuries in both claws same foot? Or two different injured feet? How would you go about healing that?
Is there times when epoxy is used? Like say when reconstructing the top of a horses hoof. But on cows?
OooooooOoo so satisfyinggg
Uff da. Poor thing. Glad you helped that poor girl out!
Hi Nate Is the hoof soft or is the tool you're using very sharp? You're cutting through the hoof rather easily
Addicted to cow's boots❤
I bet that did hurt. Poor thing.
How's the weather up there? I see the north/northeast is getting a lot of snow. It's been mostly 50s/60s here in MO lately.
I've always been interested in hoof carving (both cow and horse) and I just wanna know, how do you know how deep to carve?
